It was a parliamentary system and there was intense negotiation between parties and the quotes of the party leaders are still publicly available. Sardauna said the mistake of 1914 has come to light! How can you compare ceremonial President to Minister of Finance?. Azikiwe was not a figure head. They ran the country together. His NCNC people controlled the civil service and etc. They controlled everything and he would have been the chief person nominating. If Zik accepted Awo's proposal, do you think the NPC will accept to be opposition?. I don't think so

Since this is the Nigeria You are comfortable with, it shouldn't be Nnamdi Kanu who was in DSS custody for the last 5 years, now in Sokoto prisons, that you should be worried about

Remember, you are comfortable with a Nigeria where 200 people were roasted in Yelwata, Benue, just three months ago
