With this single move, opposition lost their tongue, they should be congratulating Nigerians judging from the newly appointed defense Minister antecedent but hate as overpowered their souls, reasoning and every existence. Like they say, haters can keep hating while Nigeria hope for the best n possibly end to boko haram, kidnapping, banditry etc. Tinubu should also sack his team on social media. I wonder why such appointment upon going viral is not highlighted and praised to shore up his battered image. This action on it own is an awesome PR with enormous goodwill if ipob n obidiwnt can relate it to Obi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L_3AJcPCUI?si=ikCpXE7ucPWKYUZ5

SMH. This is the bane of Tinubu's leadership. The inordinate desire to squash opposition, not necessarily to govern rightly. The best way to squash opposition is to stop the killings and improve security. Gen Musa is not a new appointee, he was CDS who got relieved of his appointment because Tinubu himself found him inadequate. Of course, Nigeria would naturally celebrate his reappointment because his successors appointed by the "talent hunter" turned out to be worse-off. Agbadorians should please allow Gen Musa to do his job. You all praised his sack by Tinubu and hailed Tinubu as a master strategist who has weeded out all coup plotters with the change of service chiefs. What changed? Professional Shape-shifters. |

Tinubu made that clear with Musa's Appointment which it is not being praised from every quarter as it should with the way Nigerians praised and supported the appointment. This shows Tinubu is more interested in the result than the hype. If not the like of you ipob n Rufia no suppose sleep AMINDA: |

Alaigbo:In other words, Tinubu is running a government of trial and error. Will he also bring back the experienced cohort of 2 sets of NDA RCs that he garrulously retired in a knee-jerk reaction? If you claim Tinubu listens to what Nigerians want, there's a general outcry against Reno Omokri's appointment, why is Tinubu going ahead with it? |

Fair comment. But I expect a more detailed analysis of the appointment and implications from the DDG, than just the reaction of the opposition. |

Ballmer:What's all these nonsense you typed . The level of insecurity is at alarmingly high, and just because we have another defense minister, you think it's now over. Tinubu is anchoring a sinking ship and he has to be up and doing to Savage the situation. If the choice of this man will help curb insecurity then it okay by all standard but turning this into some political calculation is callous and gain saying. We need help fast, else we will lose half the country to terrorists and bandits in the next few years. |

Maybe because most of his appointments have turned out to be failures like himself Let's wait and see what he does differently, what matters now is putting an end to the menace |

You should be thanking us; Yes! those of us who shouted out, who warned and criticized the government for being lackadaisically inept in its approach to handling the insurgents and marauding forces; to us who called the attention of the world to the “ongoing genocide” in the country and forced POTUS to intervene and bring about this circumstance that led to what you think has “squashed” us. But, if not for us, the govt response to everything was very irresponsive. It’s like they were sitting on their hands. Yes! You should be thanking us! And you should still thank us when we continue to criticize you until we see the change and renewed hope promise by the APC. |

The appointment of Musa is a masterstroke. If the Obidients and Ipobs can put aside their differences, it would be a win-win for both parties. We are not even looking at the possibility of the 2027 election. The collaboration would be a force to reckon with. The ball is in their courts |

He worked closely with that late Lagbaja, he is also a northern Christian and knows where they were frustrated. Even if you don't like him, it is a good appointment if defence/security is the priority. |

The problem with asslicking is that you won't know when you start eating shit. Was this man not cds for 2 years. What did he achieve. If he was so good, why did tinubu sack him. |
