I noticed uploading a picture to a post now show a preview of the image

I came back here after some time and saw that he did something funny with the buttons
He must have really loved the button job after a long day trying to get it right

Then, like he's hiding that nearly invincible sun that changes the theme to dark/light mode. Lol. No sir, we can see it. It feels like he's hiding it, but also not hiding it, at the same time. Haha.

I'm not even sure I've mentioned everything.

I find this pattern really funny tho. Maybe we should play a game where we predict what he'll do next.

He doesn't seem to be big on box-shadow, but I thing hell do something silly and VERY minimal with those next.

I can build a better forum but shilling it is the problem as i have no xp in that field

People talk a lot but there has been no forum that has half of the functionalities NL has. Even tech bros for some reasons are not interested in building forums, even as side projects.

Any time someone comes up with something, its usually a clone of NL or something with less feature and unusable.

NL don master some of us wey don tey here.

One feature per decade. We dont complain. Infact, I think seun is doing too much sef recently.

My point exactly. Ideas come a dime a dozen. Getting people on the forum with such “glamorous” ideas is where the rubber meets the road. Many of users have absolutely no visibility on the data analytics tha Seun sees in the backend which goes on to drive his decision making. I’d like to have a forum myself, but going up against a behemoth like Nairaland is going to need very deep pockets. And the investment may not even be worth the rewards.

The real question is what revenue increase will those new features bring? A lot of tech folks just think about technical without evaluating the cost-benefit.

What value does direct messaging bring for example? It will increase cost. How much revenue will it bring?

Seun, that doesn’t mean you won’t add features o. For example, the block feature, I don’t understand the three week limit. Allow me block monikers until I unblock them. Also FP posts authored by monikers I block should not be visible on FP when I’m logged in. Some of the monikers here are toxic and need to be blocked for a life time+99 years

Maybe plans are in order for badges as we can see OP! With OP in mind and having Mods. Your 404 page still non functional like the mods.

I logged in and noticed he has added "(mod)" badge beside names of moderators. The badge are even different colours. Lol

I shwear 2 gad, he has also done something funny to the top/bottom border of the posts container. I can't quite lay my finger on what he did with the border. Ghadamit!
