... and that is where the problem lies. Compare what these states contributes and what they get back in return as allocation. We can see the imbalance in the system and why there is a need for a proper fiscal federalism or outright regionalisation

vat is just a small percentage of the revenue accruing to the govt, how about we compare the revenue from resource export i.e foreign exchange earning by region?

the vats generated in all region have se contribution to it, if I have my way I would make sure se doesn't generate any vat at all

The NW is 3 times the SE in population according to NIN registration data. If you check the VAT on a per capita basis they are around equal with NW slightly higher.
In IGR the SE is now doing better
