Uturu, Abia State — December 6, 2025:

Labour Party’s first-term Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, has delivered one of the biggest empowerment programmes in the history of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency.

The event, which held at the Uturu Primary School Field, drew a massive crowd as the lawmaker marked his two years in office with an unprecedented distribution of empowerment items aimed at boosting local businesses and improving livelihoods.

Hon. Ogah handed out a wide range of equipment, including buses, tricycles (Keke), motorcycles, freezers, vulcanizing machines, electric sewing machines, grinders, and substantial business grants, among other support tools targeted at artisans, traders, farmers, and young entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the event, the Rep member reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development, economic empowerment, and responsive representation, stressing that leadership must translate into tangible benefits for the people.

The mega empowerment programme has been widely described as massive, reflecting Hon. Ogah’s growing reputation as one of the most impactful first-term lawmakers in the National Assembly.

I love this new crop of Igbo politicians . They are doing well unlike there counterparts in Lagos .

See better constituency projects that the south east people are enjoying ..

but, go to Lagos and see the eye sore that they give them for constituency projects . Desmond Elliot constructed a wooden bridge that looks like something that will break the same day it was commissioned.

Igbo land is now in safe hands.

must you mention Lagos? Why not compete with Dubai and Singapore. Ala Igbo should raise their standards. Lagos shouldn't be your yardstick of measuring progress

Keep deceiving yourself, even a local government chairman in Lagos work on road, build health care facilities, schools, recreational facilities.

Bikes and Keke that will be shared by known associate and sponsors. It's doesn't help the populace at all.🙄🙄

Hon. Amobi Ogah, of Labour Party, deserve reelection.

Unlike those APC fraud who are depending on Emilokon to deliver them.
Well done
I like what is going on in Igbo land.

Natasha Okpoti is doing well too, she should be senator of the year with all she is going through, she still have the capacity to empower her people and carryout constituency projects.

That’s the constitutional role of local governments. There are streets known as local government streets. The job of LG includes building health centers and recreational facilities. All the projects are budgeted for, just like the states.

Even if the Kekes are shared among associates, as long as they are used to make their living, the member of rep has done well.

This your second paragraph exposes you as either a young secondary school leaver, or lacking in understand of government, governance and the officials in charge.

If you had a little knowledge, you would have clearly understood the roles of the different arms of government and the officials running them. That would have prevented you from making that ignorance comment of yours.

A little more knowledge only would have told you that everything distributed by the honorable member fall into what is termed “constituency projects” and they are budgeted for also by the National Assembly, where he works as a member of the house of assembly. It is not the business of the member of the house to fix the roads. That is the business of the federal, state and local governments. It is his business to attract federal projects to his area of constituency and with his approved budgetary provision, embark on such as he did to make life better for the citizens. If he built schools, people like you would have criticized the structure.
