Na those OBIDIENTS people na. Those people are funny sha.

They started celebrating the coup hoping it will soon be the turn of Nigeria. They instantly became very sad when the coup was thwarted.

Ever since Tinubu defeated Peter Obi in the last presidential elections they have been praying for bad things to happen to Nigeria at any given opportunity.
Why do you crrate imaginary enemies and then proceed to attack the imaginary enemies. To the best of my knowledge in this thread no obidient has said anything here except you making imaginary assumptions.

Some may argue that it is a strategic decision for national security, but don’t the actions of killers (terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, cultists etc) —who take Nigerian lives everyday also directly affect national security

Nigeria, a very funny country.
Terrorists and bandits are busy killing and kidnapping innocent people in the North and other parts of the country no fighter jet has been sent, but the federal government is more concerned with sending fighter jets to another country.

It’s a strategic decision for national security particularly the security of south west Nigeria.

It’s bad enough that Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso and some Sahel countries are already being run by military administrators who are loyal to Russia. These are countries who no longer participate in regional integration and cooperation.

So, Nigeria can’t stay idle and watch Benin Republic become another hostile military administered country with probable Russian support. It will be a big threat to our democracy. We can’t afford another hostile neighbor on the western border. We must ensure a friendly and cooperative regime remain in place in the country to protect our national interests.
Abi o. The East and the North are used to their violence and insecurity. We don't want that near us in SW. Anything that affects Benin Republic affect Ogun and Lagos. We don't need any junta near us in yoruba land. How will lagos cope with refugees from Benin Republic with all these internal displaced persons and refugees from potor region?

It is Russia and China that are promoting military coups in Africa and this will have a serious adverse effect in the long run.

Côte D’Ivoire president alassane ouattara is serving a fourth term despite the constitution not permitting him beyond two terms -- is that a coup?

what about Cameroon paul biya or Togo faure gnassingbé -- changing the constitution to remain preseident for life, does that qualify as a coup or its has to be only by the military that can be designated a lable "coup d’état"
