In fact the entire West Africa owes its stability to Nigeria.

If you visit Sierra Leone or Liberia today as a Nigerian, they literally worship the ground you walk on, due to their memory of how the Nigerian military ended their wars....
yet cannot defeat enemy within in bandits n terrorist...smh

Nigeria has all these capabilities yet can't even completely defeat an ordinary rag tag bokoharam and fulani bandits fighters for over a decade now? Hope nigeria won't also complain when trump decides to send US marines to help do the job the nigerian military couldn't do for years?

Why Nigeria Airforce can't use this kind of precision airstrike to bomb bandits and kidnappers

Nawaoo
Bandits are northern children, kill them and your government is going to have problems with the north. Even Trump has understand that killing northern bandits will make christians soak in blood for Hausa-fulani retaliation that's why they don't want to just come Nigeria

Infact ,Ghana together with Nigeria and Ivory Coast, and Sierra Leone deploy forces to Benin as part of ECOWAS Standby Force to protect the government of Benin in the wake of the attempted coup.
Did Nigerian Air Force strike the fleeing coupists or not? Nobody told you other ECOWAS members troups are not there.
You mentioned Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone, countries where Nigerian Military have carried out successful operations in? The joke is on you lots.

Let it be stated to the children who have not overcome the sobering defeat they received in 2023.

Nigeria's intervention in Benin under the auspices of ECOWAS standby force was at the request of the Beninoise legitimate authorities. Tinubu did not invade a sovereign nation. There is no double standard.

Why do these children wish for political instability in Nigeria and neighbouring countries? We recall how some of them went to Defence HQ to ask if the military would watch as Bola Tinubu would be sworn in. Yet, one of their warlords, a failed politician, was on Channels TV saying that swearing in Bola Tinubu would be ending democracy in Nigeria.

Who wanted to end democracy in Nigeria if not sore election losers?

PS: As for those saying the Nigerian Airforce cannot bomb insurgents, let it be also stated that insurgents collect daily, but making a show of it removes the element of surprise which is critical. As you can see, the coupists were caught offguard and had no time to respond, which caused the coup to fail. How can you shit air space without the capacity to enforce it?
Na from your hand bandits Dey collect daily?

And them still Dey in charge of several villages In the north, collecting taxes?

You must be a 🤡

it is rather the opposite.. ECOWAS or ecomog are most often present in this kind of situation. Giving the kudos to Nigeria only as if she did it alone is am unnecessary pride . Other ECOWAS should also follow up.

Ecowas will soon reason the matter for all this other West African coup plotters if they don't swiftly return to democratic rule, they think because Ecowas choose dialogue and diplomacy over force that they are weak. They have been fvckin around and about to found out FAFO especially that one in Burkina Faso strutting around like a peacock with a pistol strapped to his waist.

How many coups both successful and abortive have taken place. I still maintain apart from military dictatorship and monarchy all African leaders are imperialism puppets. E.g Paul biya
Which military coup works in Africa??

Nigeria has the most troops, almost doubled the number of the troops from other countries combined. Nigeria is also providing the weapons and finances for the operations. Seems you don't know why they called Nigeria ECOWAS. Don't know why you guys putting down your country because of hate & bitterness. Simply because you lost election which you will still lose again.
You be mumu. What is my stakes in whose win Nigeria election. ECOWAS as a 14 member states. And based on each country resources and military availability, each member states are intend to deployed not Nigeria only( ready ecomog states) .With Nigeria having much larger military resources and members ,it is expected to of her to put more resources.

And Nigeria is not called ECOWAS, it is rather the joint 14 member states that bears the name.

African leaders can do anything to protect the interests of their Western paymaster and their hold on power in Africa than protecting the country and its citizens.

Just imagine how Nigerian Military Gallery NIGERIAN AIR FORCE are bombing targets in the Benin republic but failed to do the same against Fulani terrorists in Nigeria.

What a shame.

in the good old days when our leaders were actually sound and vast.

There has been multiple successful coup in west Africa this year alone but surprisingly we responded very fast within 30 minutes to benini republic crisis.

When will the NA respond to Boko haram and iswap with this same efficiency and eagerness?

Go and meet the eldest person in your family to educate your ignorance. There's a reason why Nigeria calls the shot in ECOWAS and others follow, just as other members of NATO contribute their quota but the US calls the shot in NATO. Many of you online noisemakers are just too ignorant.

Na wa o. Tinubu doesn't think at all before making decisions. That's why he rushed into subsidy removal on day 1 of getting to power. He also tried to release a murderer before everyone cried out loud against it. He doesn't think, and he is also surrounded by non-thinkers.

I will rather nairaland School you. Nigeria to ecowas is not same with NATO to USA.

ECOWAS deals with economic integration with little to no military impact ( Ecomog).while NATO is a military alliance between members state. In short , ECOWAS is economic focus and NATO is military focus. So learn, ECOWAS and NATO serves different purpose and juxtaposing the two is an act of ignorance.

I WAS IN FREE TOWN ON A BUSINESS TRIP WHEN NKOMAH'S COUP TO TOOK PLACE IN THE DAYS OF ABACHA. GRACE OF GOD, WE LEFT THE PLACE THROUGH HELICOPTER TAXI, WHICH IS COMMON IN BIG HOTELS IN THE CITY. NO MORTAL CAN BE WORSHIPPED EXCEPT GOD. TO ASCRIBE TO MERE DUST THAT WILL DIE TOMORROW THE GLORY THAT OUGHT TO GO TO GOD IS AN INSULT TO GOD. Nigeria is the only country that worship foreigners, no other country does that. Once you begin to succeed in any African country, the citizens begin to hate and see you as enemy. Abeg tell us how Liberia or sierra Leon worship the ground you walk. Oni iro ofo
