Nigeria's intervention in Benin under the auspices of ECOWAS standby force was at the request of the Beninoise legitimate authorities. Tinubu did not invade a sovereign nation. There is no double standard.

And based on each country resources and military availability, each member states are intend to deployed not Nigeria only( ready ecomog states) .With Nigeria having much larger military resources and members ,it is expected to of her to put more resources.


And Nigeria is not called ECOWAS, it is rather the joint 14 member states bears the name.
