The US have never fought even the weakest nations on it's own. Always hiding behind 32 NATO nations.

But I’ll give you an example. If not for Xi, Russia would have lost the war with Ukraine long ago.

There is no single sanction that the US slapped on other countries that Xi complied with. Not one. China is so powerful that it can ignore the US like it didn’t exist.

China also is the only country that sanctions the US and the US will bow and thread carefully (eg the recent tarief was that the US backed down).

The same thing Gadaffi was murdered for, Xi is doing it x100 and the US can do nothing. From BRICS, alternative payment to the USD, and the complete overall of all 20th century institutions from IMF, WTO, ICJ, world bank, UN etc to be replaced with the GGI (global governance initiative).

I can go on and on, but do not ever compare Trump to Xi. The US just have a very loud media that makes it seems like they are number one. They are not.

Just look at the multibillionaires that President Putin turned to almajiri when they crossed the line (e.g, Mikhail Khodorkovsky), and many fled Russia to go seek asylum elsewhere.

To be powerful, you need to have absolute control over a totality of institutions, and business men do not have such power. Only politicians does, such as Xi and Putin.

Billionaires are like children in their father’s mansion. They may be richer than other kids, but their father can strip them off their toy instantly.

This is why you never see Nigerian billionaires from pastors to businessmen go against politicians or criticise what’s happening. They understand that their wealth will seize and their dirty can opened, with lawsuit from everywhere that will end their empire.

Celebrities also fall inside this boat. See what they did to Michael Jackson, now it’s Pdiddy and Rkelly.

Money is not power. Money is money, and power is power.

Your Submissions are valid, and for me that places him on Number 2, not 1. The Tarif issue is a response to the rash decision made by Trump. At the moment the US still dominates the Currency world, they regulate the price of Oil globally, because they have influence in the Middle East. Their security reach is far more than China. The China Road belt Initiative with Pakistan as the crown Jewel has flopped. Taiwan is there. The only reason why Xi has not invaded Taiwan is because of the US. If he is more powerful, then he would have damned the consequences and invaded Taiwan. As for the war in Ukraine, It is in Xi's best interest for the war to Continue (China knows that the longer the war continues, the weaker Russia will get ultimately). Dont think Xi cares so much about Russia, or that they are friends. By the time Russia emerges from this war, it will be a shadow of what the Soviet union was when they emerged from the Afghan War. Xi Is powerful, but he cannot influence the Middle East like Trump (Look at the Iran case). The US has brokered peace with Rwanda and Congo. The US has brokered a Ceasefire in Gaza. Look at how Trump singlehandedly stopped the war between India and Pakistan. Where was Xi in all these wars or conflicts I mentioned? China is the Factory of the world, That does not make it more powerful than the US right now. Venezuela nko? Thailand and Cambodia Nko? Trump can go to Asia in China's backyard and set up a Base, broker peace deals between 2 nations in Asia. Let Xi come to the Americas and do same. Xi is number 2. Having influence on Trade alone does not make you the most powerful person bro

Business men of that hierarchy as those you saw on the list are actually very powerful.
They influenced greater percentage of the world economy policies.
Most of the world disruptive activities in some countries are allegedly sponsored by them.
They can install and uninstalled governments.
So don't underate their powers in the scheme of things in the world.
