the night fades away
darkness holds me with strong arms
nothingness beckons

yep it is. Poems don't need to rhyme. But poems must have forms/structure before it can be called poem.

The Feeling.

The night is as cold as a grave yard,
The wind feels like making love to a corpse.
The sky is moonless, starless, it’s as if God
Painted the sky with all shade of blackness.

Silence creeps about like hopeless souls.
The creepy silence orchestrate songs of malady
While despair conducts it like a symphony

This must be what death feels like…
The feeling shocking beyond comprehension,
The feeling that embraces silence,
The feeling we all must feel.

Good Friends

Our eyes are heavy,
Darkness rushes up to give us
A cold hard kiss.

An atom bomb explodes
Before our eyes…
The darkness is blinding,
Our feeling is empty,

Everyone looks like burnt paper
As they scattered across the wind,

Their screams are drowned in silence
As darkness embrace us as good friends.

Sigh...

Is this the end?
My thoughts, blind
My soul, hallow
My spirit, shallow

My feelings, empty
My heart, shaky
My mind, quaky
My pen, very angry.

Is this the end?
My friends, condescend
My girlfriend, abscond
Her family, depend
Her friends, confound

The government, fallow
The people, wallow
The Naira, bellow
The dollar, aglow

Seun needs to do something about that bot. Can't even make us post.

‎I feel blue
‎Yet I feel so red
‎Confuse emotions
‎Makes me Lust to take her life

‎Not with my blade
‎But with my blade

‎Seeing her innards_
‎On the ground
‎Surround her naked_ body
‎Makes her look like Picasso's dull

‎She looks too _sexy to die
‎A witch_ devoid of emotions
‎An enchantress with cruel intentions
