The economic reforms of this administration is yielding positive results. We need to curb our borrowings and reduce waste especially in recurrent expenditures. Nigeria would be great again! |

Let’s remind ourselves that we celebrated it at $46.7 billion just 3 weeks ago. Now we’re celebrating it “at a new high” of $45 billion. That’s how shameless these Agbadorians are.

yemmight:Tinubu is no better than peter obi. Both men did not transform their states. Even this milestone shows how broke and poor we are. Even at the peak of 60.billion dollars in 2009, Saudi had a reserve of 720 billion dollars or more. The way you guys praise men who could not change their states at all, and expect them to raise our forex to at least 200 billion or more self and share money...is why we are broke. Nigerians never asked tinubu or even obi and atiku what they would do differently. Instead na the same show we dey see. Every single time |

Ttalk:That is what I am trying to tell you people, your leaders from state, to lga to federal government are all the same. Government of project by project for projects. Not government of actual development. Government of sharing money, not productivity. |

nairalanda1:Oga Tinubu transformed Lagos when he was here. The blueprint is still being followed. |
| Re: Nigeria's Forex Reserves Hit Six-year High, Crossing $45 Billion Mark by nairalanda1(m): 1:13pm On Dec 09, 2025 |
yemmight:No, he did not. He just built projects and left them with no means of funding for maintenance, and yes, that includes your railway Also, Lagos needs a proper refuse and central sewage system. So far, nothing has been done. Also, how many factories and investment in manufacturing did he attract to the state, to reduce unemployment? Was Lagos transformed into an exporting hub for the world? And why is the tax to gdp today still a low 2.3%. And most people live in substandard housing and poverty? Yes, same as Obi and all your governors. They don't want to develop nigeria, they just want to be elected and then blow money. |

| Re: Nigeria's Forex Reserves Hit Six-year High, Crossing $45 Billion Mark by nairalanda1(m): 1:42pm On Dec 09, 2025 |
yemmight: ![]() NO state should use lagos as example...because that means you want cities where the majority of people live in slums and shanty towns. Lagos is a poor example of a developed state. Forget those shiny buildings in VI, Lekki, the Island and even in the mainland...outside that it is a big mess. You guys are too satisfied with less, when you could have more and more. |
| Re: Nigeria's Forex Reserves Hit Six-year High, Crossing $45 Billion Mark by yemmight(m): 3:30pm On Dec 09, 2025 |
nairalanda1:And yet Lagos is where every big Nigerian Artist prevail in entertainment business. Most of you are just too jelous of Lagos. Let me remind of one of the good things in Lagos. The biggest refinery in the world is in Indian. Dangote Refinery in Nigeria is the world's largest single-train facility (650,000 bpd) and plans expansion to become the world's largest. Dangote didn't just pick Lagos for this huge investment because he considered some States but this is where such business is viable. You called it slums, the biggest Billionaires stay in the slums. Have you heard about Eko Atlantic Project? Which State in Nigeria do have train transportation within? You dey wine us ni? |
| Re: Nigeria's Forex Reserves Hit Six-year High, Crossing $45 Billion Mark by nairalanda1(m): 3:36pm On Dec 09, 2025 |
yemmight:The truth is at the end, Lagos is a poor state I can say the same about many states. Bauchi and Imo attracted big refinery deals. As did edo. See how broke they are. The North has a thriving music and movie scene that even is known outside Nigeria. See how poor it is. Why are you guys satisfied with less when you can have more? Lagos could have had far more than just one refinery and musicans. They could have had a lot of working industries that be exporting . And much better tourism than what they have now. And lower crime and no shanty towns and slums. You and the obidients are alike. Justifying mediocrity because Dem build a few shiny things |
