God has spoken to me directly and led me through tough times that I have survived. I made mistakes in the past and did not utilize the opportunities God gave me but he is restoring me bit by bit. But there is a final straw coming. I applied for a job that pays about 400k per month and the Holy Spirit is ministering to me that I will get the job as I am highly qualified. If it comes to past and I get the job. I will have to go into the ministry fulltime as that could signify the vindication of my faith.

1 Thessalonians 4:3 - For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

No where did God Say that you must climb the pulpit. He has already told us all He wants from us and expects from us.

So all these pulpit things is people choosing what they say they would do for God rather than directly doing what God has already Said He Wants. So, don't join them. Mathew 7:21-23 is waiting for them
