President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has just held a closed-door meeting with six governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House, Abuja.

The purpose of the meeting was not immediately clear, and details of the agenda were not disclosed at press time.

Those in attendance include the governors of Jigawa (Umar Namadi), Edo (Monday Okpebholo), Ekiti (Biodun Oyebanji), Kogi (Usman Ododo), Sokoto (Aliyu Sokoto) and Kebbi (Dr Nasir Idris) states.

The meeting, which which lasted less than an hour was held in the President’s office.

Although no official of the Presidency has proffered a hint of the reason for the meeting, it came amid recent mounting security challenges facing the nation.

It has also coincided with ongoing national political consultations and preparations ahead of key party and governance engagements.

When approached by journalists for comments, the governors declined to speak.

APC has totally divided this country.
Everyday, you read of APC governors or APC ministers meeting the president at Aso. It is no more about Nigerian governor as it used to be under the PDP. It is now all about APC.

This janja-we-ed party has added another layer of division to an already devided country just to loot national resources for secrional agenda. We have to contend with ethnic, regional and religious divisions before. Now Tinubu and Buhari have added party divisiond to the mix..

The fact that there is no topic of discussion for media people and bloggers is now making them unhappy and they resorted to creating contents using the guessing games.

What's really the problem here? Is it the fact that they had a meeting.? Or the fact that they didn't disclose what was discussed or what?

I don't really understand us as Nigerians sometimes. They have the right to and must have several meetings.
And moreover, Not all meetings must be a National topic of discussion.

Let the press and the social media bloggers go back to what journalism is all about (Investigative) and not just be sniffing around Aso rock for day-to-day contents.

The press is no more what it was and used to be. Not more proactive reporting but more or less reactive in nature.
