The country won't get anywhere, let them also remove Christianity also. religion is what is moving African countries backward.

Being rich as a country has nothing to do with religion. It has everything to do with realizing that your resources are limited, but with industries you can make a lot of useful things out of the limited resources, and then you act accordingly.

Japan is rich, but when it was poor, most of the country practiced one religion too.The same religion most profess now.

Sources are all over the place, but apparently in 1991, Zambia declared itself a christian nation.

This source, from december 2021, looks back at 30 years since the declaration

In 2022, Zambia was 98% christian (mostly protestants, 20% catholic) with 0.5% muslim and 0.2% others incl traditional religion.
