There has always been and there will always be additional instructions when a new challenge comes up against God's people that's why Jesus said holy spirit will teach his Apostles what to do since they are taking the lead. John 16:12-13

God's word is like a double edged sword {Hebrews 4:12} so i know why you keep saying it's juju as it's biting really hard into your conscience you can't let go yet you feel i must not talk about the matter again. cheesy

I have the holy Spirit, not conscience. Conscience is influenced by environmental factors, holy Spirit is influenced by the word of God, not outside the word.
There must be no addition to the word. The word of God is enough and complete.
Tell me one thing you will like to add that the scriptures has not addressed? Tell me the new development that the scriptures did not envisage. Oya give examples.

God's holy spirit don't teach individuals what should be concluded upon by His organized worshipers otherwise each person will claim it's holy spirit that's directing him or her and confusion will take over. 1Corinthans 14:33, 40

God's holy spirit is a force that moves all believers towards the same direction in the face of no written document that's why Paul said:

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. ‭2Corinthians 3:6 NIV‬

God's holy spirit unite worshipers for the work of salvation so if they decided to forbid gambling among them and you choose to be a gambler it means you are not in the same SPIRIT with the body of Christ! Ephesians 5:23

That's what God promised His worshipers saying in our time He will write His laws in our hearts {Jeremiah 31:33} so if all the churches in the world speaks in agreement regarding gambling but you choose to be a gambler ọmọ Ọ̀yọ́ lo wà!🙂

Smoking, hard drugs, age at which girls should get married.
All these are not written anywhere in the Bible but you can allow your daughter or son to smoke and use hard drugs even let your daughter marry if she chooses to follow a man at the age of fifteen because she has grown big.
After all there are no word for word instructions on these things! cheesy

Look at this one. Quoting 2 Corinthians 3:6 out of context. Lol. What was the meaning of 'the letter' according to the passage. You think say na handwritten messages or scriptures? Funny.
Guy, it means 'the law of Moses' kills but the New covenant which is the spirit of life gives life. Go and sit down and read 2 Corinthians and Hebrews and understand what 'the letter' means."
Let me quote the next two verses from your 2 Corinthians 3:6 for you:
2 Corinthians 3:6-9
[6]He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.
[7]The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away.
[8]Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life?
[9]If the old way, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way, which makes us right with God!

Also quoting Jeremiah 31:33 out of context.
The Holy Spirit is the New law written in our hearts as evident by 2 Corinthians and Hebrews. The job of the holy Spirit is not to teach us 'new things' but to bring the teachings of Jesus to our 'remembrance.'
Do you understand the meaning of remembrance? It mean for you to remember something, it must have first been communicated to your either through spoken words or written words.
The Holy Spirit brings the scriptures to our remembrance, he doesn't cook up new things outside the confines of the scriptures which is our constitution.

GO AND LEARN OGA. AND STOP QUOTING SCRIPTURES OUT OF CONTEXT. GO AND SIT AND READ THE WHOLE BOOK TO UNDERSTAND THE USAGE OF EACH VERSE AND WORD.

Bringing smoking and hard drugs into the discussion is a very shallow thinking. You know why?
The scriptures do not condemn smoking and hard drugs. Jesus said "What goes into a man does not condemn a man, but what comes out of him (either words or thoughts). Matthew 15:11.
Do you know why the scriptures do not condemn smoking and hard drugs?
Because the elements that made up hard drugs are also available in our medications. Most of our medications contains cocaine, marijuana etc because of their medical benefits. If the Bible condemns it, it shows that we will have to run away from medication because ones the Bible condemns something, it doesn't matter the quantity, it stands condemned. The writers of the scriptures are not as myopic as you.
Now to Hard drugs.
Taking of hard drugs without Doctors' or experts' prescription (dosages involved) carries health consequences and not spiritual consequences. Now here is the spiritual consequences. If you take hard drugs just like taking TOO MUCH of ALCOHOL and it influenced our thoughts and actions to commit sin stated in scriptures, then it carried a spiritual consequence. Do you understand now.
A medical expert may tell me to stop taking Garri or that I should caution its intake. It doesn't mean that Garri intake is generally bad but if I disobey, it may carry health consequences.
VERDICT
The taking of HARD DRUGS is not a sin because we are taken it in medications for health benefits.
But
1. Taking such drugs without prescription or overdose will have health consequences.
2. Taking such drugs MAY have spiritual consequences IF it influences our thoughts or actions to commit SIN clearly STATED IN SCRIPTURES.

If I decide to marry an 11 year old girl. It is not a sin bro. Show me that it is. But it becomes criminal because the law of THE NATION, not of God does not permit it. If the Nigerian law permitted it, then it is not a sin neither a crime. Australian just became the first country to ban people under the age of 16 from having social media. It has become a crime in that nation but not in Nigeria. Does that mean that Australian teenagers have committed sin against God of the use social media? But it has now become a national crime.
It only becomes a crime because the nation's law did not permit it and not that because God is against it.
The is a difference between the NATIONS CONSTITUTION AND GOD'S WORD.

DID THE BIBLE STATE ANY PARTICULAR AGE FOR MARRIAGE? I CAN EVEN MARRY SOMEONE BORN TODAY THROUGH BETROTHAL AND MARRY HER OFFICIALLY AT THE AGE CONSENTED TO BY HER FATHER OR FATHER FIGURE (IF THE CONSTITUTION PERMITS)

MARRIAGE IS A CULTURAL THING, NOT A SPIRITUAL THING. 100% CULTURAL.
