Burob:It is remarkable and almost unbelievable but facts on the ground may now declare it: the People's Democratic Party (PDP) stands verging on political extinction. As things stand, only Seyi Makinde remains as its lone governor in the entire southern belt, a region with seventeen states and just four governors nationwide still fly the PDP flag. This stark collapse mirrors the familiar pattern we saw under Bola Tinubu’s ascendancy in Lagos: opposition forces evaporating into near-total oblivion, drained of influence and momentum.
