You know, if we Ndi-Igbo are really serious about Biafra, we should all be in the East. Our businesses should all be in the East.

It doesn’t make sense that we say we want Biafra but we are in Lagos. Our businesses are in Lagos, Kano, Abuja and everywhere across Nigeria. Everything that we have is outside the Igboland but we keep talking about Biafra.

Majority of us only visit the East once in a year. If you truly hate Nigeria, why are you in Nigeria and not in Biafra or your home town?

And I’m saying this as an Igbo person. What exactly do we want? Do we want Biafra or Nigeria? If you truly want Biafra why are you hiding in Nigeria and destroying Biafra land? You take pride in destroying lives and properties in the same place you claim to love?

As Igbos, we should start telling ourselves the hard truth. If you hate Nigeria so much, you should be in Biafra.

I know some of you will start calling me names but think about this post and try to answer the questions.

It’s madness and hypocritical that you are agitating for Biafra but you are not living or doing business in Biafra or with the people of Biafra.

Close your eyes and imagine what would happen if Nigeria wakes up tomorrow and the Igbos are moving all their businesses and properties to Igbo land.

That would be the most powerful message you will send to the world.

Until you are ready to do that, please, let us stop deceiving ourselves. I believe majority of the people clamouring for the emancipation of Biafra are just after their selfish interests and pocket. If not, they would start working on how to follow the process of Igbo sessession from Nigeria ideally.

Biafra means you have a country you can do anything with. You decide the policies, control the central bank and own the resources. You also use your language as official and you are better able to preserve your identity and project yourself to the world. It does not mean all of you have to live there. You are right...I guess that the points of concern of the OP are centered on the unity of the people advocating for Biafra. They need to all start from somewhere...they can all pass a compelling message if majority of them choose to develop their territory in a way that other regions would feel that they are truly ready to stand on their own. Instead of killing themselves, halting business activities, destroying their natural resources just because they want to pass a message, they should start thinking about it in a positive way. If there would ever be a territory called Biafra tomorrow, it will not be on a special location, soil or territory other than where their forefathers chose as their dwelling place. So, why destroy your home before you can prove to your parents that you are grown enough live on your own?

Nigeria can never make any genuine progress in it's current form unless it is totally restructured to devolve political/economic powers to states/regions (Total Decentralization). If total restructuring can not be done then a dissolution of the country through a peaceful referendum remain the surest part to salvation....

It is glaring from your submission that your understanding of the purpose of Biafra is kinda skewed because all igbos don't need to migrate back to South East to prove that they want their own country. Take for example, the Chinese/Asian people, they live, invest and work in other countries outside China. It does not mean that they don't come back home (China) once in a while to connect with other chinese people living and working in China . Biafra or any other name given to the igbo country when actualized will bring about massive industrial development due to political/economic autonomy, giving the igbos 100% control/ownership of all land, natural resources in the South East.....

If you want Biafra you must invest in manufacturing and agriculture maybe security.

Majority of Igbos outside the southeast are traders either wholesale or retail, and so its impossible for them to live in the Southeast even if Biafra were created they would not be in the southeast.

Isseke people in Anambra state are great basket weavers. Most hausa people do go their to buy thousands of baskets almost every week with their trailers.
One day , during the prime of ESN, they killed two hausa drivers that went to buy these tomato baskets and burnt their trailers. That was how. Isseke people stop weaving and selling baskets till date because their main buyers no longer come out of fear of ESN

Ipob has clearly shown me and all Igbos that Biafra is not only alien to the genuine Igbo identity, but will never ever be feasible as a nation state,.and even if remotely possible, would be the most dangerous enterprise that would eventually lead to the destruction of the tribe.
