IronGalaxy:If you check we are still building, o n the news last night, a new station just got added to the National Grid. The infrastructure to support power generation is massive, people tend to under estimate the task at hand. The vast majority of our old power plant were built around dams its only just now we are going thermal. The amount of power we generate as we speak can feed the whole of Southern Africa, we talking about more than 300M people here, that's not even the accurate figure of the total demands when it comes to per head supply. Also do not forget we account for up to 40 percent of Energy supply in the west of Africa. So my friend we are progressing, level playing field is being generated to attract external investors in this sector, it wont be a one day job, but we heading the right way as few people with brains are now in government. We recognise there is a problem and this is being fixed as all other sectors depend on it. |

erico2k2:Stop lying, compare what we generate and distribute with the top and see that we are doing nothing to improve electricity. SA generate over 60,000 while Nigeria does between 3000-5000 . Shameful |

What a paradox!.. we don't have constant light yet we sell power to other neighbouring countries. No minister of power has been able to solve Nigeria's power problems...I don't understand this country |

osuofia2:Have you been to SA and lived in the down areas? Let me tell you what shyte you do not know as I happen to work in this sector a fluid Mechanic which means I deal with the movement of any fluid being gas or hydraulics and based in the UK. There is a word called Installed capacity and actual generating capacity. So what you should ask any one in the know in SA is what their installed capacity is and actual generating capacity then there is your answer. Also do you know that the vast majority of power supply generation is powered by COAL in SA? this accounts for almost 75 percent of total power generated COAL. This is a dying fuel and not sustainable hence they are resulting now to green Energy but then again, how many homes in Nigeria now go green? In SA 70 percent of Energy demand is from Industries, why in Nigeria almost 70 of Energy demands from our National greed is domestic, the Industries generate their own Energy which is absolutely brilliant, so once we get it right we be partying. |

osuofia2:Mr "South Africa generate.." Do you know the HISTORY of that SOUTH AFRICA you are calling? Do you know when they started generating electricity there? Do you know it was nearly a CENTURY before Nigeria? Nigeria's first power plant was KAINJI DAM, commissioned in 1964! SOUTH AFRICA'S first power plants were built in the 1880s! The difference between SOUTH AFRICA and the rest of black Africa is that the colonisers LOOTED FAR LESS, AND BUILT FAR MORE in SOUTH AFRICA. Why? BECAUSE they considered SOUTH AFRICA "their country". They settled their people there en masse, and built only for their people, which explained apartheid. The British and other colonisers simply LOOTED Nigeria and other African countries, and BUILT NOTHING. That's why we are still building basic infrastructure 65 years after their departure. BECAUSE THEY BUILT NOTHING. WE STARTED FROM BUSH IN 1960. EVEN OUR FIRST UNIVERSITIES WERE BUILT IN THE 1960s, after independence. South Africa's first universities were built in the 1880s.. These are the reasons they are ahead today. They have a century headstart on the rest of black Africa. |

In addition to infrastructural requirement to make power stable in Nigeria, the Discos lack supply of experienced and qualified energy workers. Many of the men that operate the distribution equipment are bereft of the required skills to manage the power equipment. Again, the Discos are not ready to make capital INVESTMENT on equipment. The FG that's supposed to put them on their heels have been compromised. Many of government officials own and possess huge shares in the Discos. These are the bitter truth. Everything about Nigeria is out of this world. It doesn't happen anywhere else. That's why things are so bad in this country. |

Great100000:The Circuit Is An Endless Electricity Generator If You Can Build It. I mean you can generates GIGA and Meg Watts Of Electrical Power Unlimitedly because you only need to I crease the CAPACITOR size and Frequency. You need High Frequency Diodes like FR607, HER208 etc. Ferrite Core as Step Down Transformer at stage 2. Some length of Insulated Multi-strand Coper Wire. Some Calculated Resistors, N.P.N Mosfets, PVC PIPE, High Frequency or Signal General which you can buy on www.aliexpress.com This circuit is Oil Business Killer because onel e you provide the Voltage, you simply need to get the Current from the Ground and Return it back there via those diodes you see as drawned. There as some calculations involved which I can understandably explain here though. However, the whole thing is Resonance One Wire Electrical Generation System.

Nigeria can never attain this feat because the foundation of the country is terrible for over 200 million people. Coupled with greed, religion, ethnicity and corruption, Nigeria can never attain this feat. It is too late to fix Nigeria. The best option is split up this over populated Nigeria, let's all start all over and watch if each segment or region don't attain more than this feat. If you check, non of this countries have a population of 200 million, we need to split up so it will be easier to hold leaders accountable. |

osuofia2:Ghana has 25 million people. They should have no problems with such a tiny population that is less than Lagos. Egypt and Algeria BOTH saw far greater colonial infrastructural development than black African countries. If you visited Cairo or Algiers in the 1960s, they were like SOUTH AFRICA too. Well developed. LAGOS WAS BUSH, apart from Ikoyi where the colonial thieves lived. BY THE WAY, ACCORDING TO AI CHATGPT, BRITAIN OWES NIGERIA $50 TRILLION FOR HER PLUNDER OF THE COUNTRY. Our underdevelopment today is caused by THEM. THEY LOOTED THIS COUNTRY FOR A WHOLE CENTURY AND PUT NOTHING BACK. THAT'S WHY WE ARE PLAYING CATCHUP TODAY. IF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR HISTORY, YOU WILL LEARN IT BY FORCE. |
