Social media activist VeryDarkMan shared a funny throwback story this morning about how he dealt with a well-known school bully back in his secondary school days.

According to him, there was one boy named Daniel who used to oppress everybody in class. Daniel was loud, stubborn, and always insulting people, including their parents. One day, Daniel insulted VDM and even added his mother inside the insult.

Instead of fighting him, VDM walked away but later, on his way to school, he passed by Daniel’s house and saw Daniel’s mother’s pant hanging outside. He said he took it without thinking too much and carried it to school.

During break time, he brought out the pant in front of the whole class. Immediately everyone shouted Daniel’s name and started laughing. Daniel, the same boy who used to bully everybody, broke down in tears on the spot.

From that day, Daniel reportedly became humble and stopped disturbing people.

VDM said the lesson he learned is simple: the best way to deal with oppressors is to give them a taste of their own medicine and post that “mama pant” that will hurt them hard

He said that he doesn’t literally post “mama pant,” but he will always expose anyone trying to oppress others the same way.

I honestly doubt this story is legit. Here's why:

— How would other high school students even know for a fact that that was Daniel's mom's pants?

— Why couldn't Daniel just deny it? He could have easily claimed VDM bought them or stole them from somewhere else.

— It's super rare to see a married woman with kids hanging her underwear out in the open like that. Usually, they prefer drying that stuff privately in the backyard or the bathroom.

— There was no mention of punishment or retaliation. If Daniel was really as 'bad' as described, wouldn't he have a squad to take revenge? or at least report it? You'd think other students would have reprimanded VDM. No high school bully just goes soft after a major blow.

— No matter how terrible a person is, I can't believe the entire school would be happy about seeing his mom's underwear on display. We all went to school na —that's just too extreme. We all faced “yabbing” in school and a typical Yoruba boy will even go as far as giving you the beating of your life. No matter how small he his.
Mothers are no go area in high school. You can’t tell a Yoruba boy “ Iya é” and not face the whole school.

I get your analysis which could be true but many things happen in secondary school days which don’t follow normal logic like that…

Yeah, even outside of high school, I'm still calling BS on that story:

— If Daniel's house was really close to the school, his mom would definitely hear about the incident. Do you honestly think she'd just sit around doing nothing because Daniel insulted VDM's mother? Nah.

— Also, if this happened in a village or a semi-urban area, do you realize how majorly messed up it is to publicly disgrace a woman? That’s an ABOMINATION! I seriously doubt VDM would have the guts to pull that off. If the woman found out, the village council would step in to deal with VDM, not the police. And trust me, the punishment he'd get from the council would probably make him wish the police had just arrested him instead!
