Mhen, has anyone taken the test? How’s it like? I really don’t like gmat questions at all
To be frank, I heard there was a leak. Someone sacrificed his chance and took photos of the whole thing, but I doubt the questions wouldn't be shuffled.

For his, it was a mixture of majorly just deductive reasoning questions and just 2 Numerical Reasoning Tests. All were 18 in total to be answered within 20 mins.
Just focus on the one closely related to your field and you should be on the pathway to success.

PPS: The questions I saw were mighty cheap. That tells a lot about how competitive this stage would be, because there would be a lot of people getting perfect scores and they might have to screen out using other criteria, or what do you think @airsaylongcome?

Please bro, I need your contact. Let’s chat on WhatsApp.
This place is enough my bro. Let the next set of aspiring GT cohorts learn from here.

Just ask your questions here and we (alongside the previous bosses that were on this path years back) would tackle it.

100% simple bruv. The practice tests even seemed harder, lol.
That was the statement I got from many.

A buffoon! Lol. The chances of getting hired are less than 1% and some unfortunate fellow "sacrificed" his chance?!

I thought so too. I had the feeling he was "a buffoon" until I noticed that he did same for all aptitude tests (for different organizations) that he applied for, even prior to this one.

In his words, "... lost hope in Nigeria's recruitment process. At the end of the day, they'll end up picking who they want."
It's a shame (but I'm not surprised) that people still actually think that way for NLNG as well, simply because it occurs with other top organizations.
Well, at the end of the day, may the best man (or men) win.

This means the Assessment Center level will be very, very competitive. They will be super strict with their grading there to trim down the number of persons.

Fingers crossed.

I have a feeling there might be another test after this. 18 questions in 20 minutes feels like a pre test.

Morning everyone! Please is there an additional test for engineering graduates?

Women too. Women are highly encouraged to apply and excel. Met some of the most brilliant Nigerian females in that GT recruitment.

As for the moo-moo saying "they will pick who they want"...it's HR I will blame for shortlisting that defeatist and leaving out someone else for them

I learnt from the other GT 2022 forum, that they called the ones with "at this time" to resume. And they resumed in January 2025.

Does it mean they didn't call anyone? Or it's just a false hope?

I did not see it stated anywhere whether you can or cannot use a sheet of paper, but I did use it and it helped. As for a calculator, I don't think you'll need one, from my experience and that of others. Some people said eye movements will be monitored and "flagged", but I had to look at the paper I am writing on (sir airsaylongcome, please do you have anything to say regarding this from your test experience?). So if you are courageous enough, you can use a sheet of paper and it may be helpful, but if your not, fearing you may be flagged, then do what is best for you.

Good evening Sir @Airsaylongcome thanks for your effort and feedback so far. Please will the use of pen, blank paper and calculator in the deductive reasoning disqualify candidates?

Is it safe to use pen, blank paper and calculator in the deductive reasoning assessment?

I don't know. And that's the truth. I wrote this exam 11 years ago and a lot has changed between then and now.

Back then, we had to go to a CBT centre to take the exam. We were given blank sheets of paper and a calculator to use in the exam. At the end of the exam both the calculator AND the sheets of paper (used or unused) were collected from us before we left the exam hall

Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Loycebella: 1:00pm On Dec 11, 2025
True , the exam was not a tough as the practice test.
The exam was more of deductive reasoning. The timing was 20 minutes for 18 questions.
