The domination of APC is a sign that APC is not a good but a very evil party. It's not new to us in this part of the world that bad things dominates, while good things do not last long. Terrorism stays longer than peace in Nigeria. Bad governance stay till eternity here. So APC will dominate, being the most terrible thing that has ever befallen our nation.

I. Those not having PVC are more than those with pvc
Ii. Among those that have pvc about 60% collect just for documentation purpose
Iii. The remaining that vote are mostly push by the party to collect their cup or rice and urgent 2k.

I no know history. Awolowo was in charge of the South South and educated all. South South was Western region reason you can hear some Yoruba names in some families

IN 2019, a youth corper in Ondo state, in a village there, observed a landslide victory for APC in that village. The funny thing was that people in the village were complaining before the election that APC was wack and so forth.

The youth corper was part of the INEC team running the election in that village, and he noted that

1.Everyone voted for APC
2.No party agent, APC Included , offered any inducement, not even money , to voters
3.Also, no politican came to snatch ballot box or cause violence.

Nigerians vote for their daily bread, not for whether a party does well or not. That's why PDP won in 2003, despite people saying Obasanjo was failing (to which his defenders made the unfortunate defence of saying that just as when a pupil fails in school, they are asked to repeat the year, so also...you get it). Even the 2023 vote was a vote for daily bread, and for a share of the national cake. It had nothing to do with whether APC had done well, or PDP Had done better.

It's very annoying, but there it is. Add the fact that to make nigeria better, a lot of hard decisions have to be made, but no politican is willing to campaign on that (even subsidy removal, which all three candidates supported its removal last time, was because their economists were telling them that there really was no money to keep the thing running again )..because they will lose. So, promise bread and circuses, and people will vote for you.

Like them people in Ondo state the corper saw. They may also have been voting with the long term idea that if they suffered four more years of buhari, they will get a yourba man who will allocate more bread from the tables in abuja for them. It's the way Nigerians think. Good governance is measured in terms of bread, not in terms of performance. That is also why Obi or atiku won't have made a difference because most people voted for them on the same basis.

As a neutral, this kind of dominance by APC is not good for the country.

Just as happened with PDP's dominance, it means the dominant party will have zero reason to work hard and, typical of Nigerian politics, have corrupt politicians with easy access to the nations funds.

Look at the bandits that surrounded Goodluck for example, whilst he was a good man, the hawks around him looted unperturbed, knowing they were in the dominant and only national party.

I believe President Tinubu is doing is best and has no reason to loot, but I don't trust a lot around him.

Let's get some sensible opposition, full of untainted youngsters, to be a viable opposition. Clearly PDP have (not surprisingly) imploded at the first sign of trouble, and the chancers in ADC just ported over from PDP with the sole aim of continuous access to the nations money.
