Nigerian singer, Daniel Etiese Benson widely known as BNXN, has opened up about the emotional challenges he faces when it comes to love, especially in Lagos. The “Finesse” hitmaker shared his frustrations on his X (formerly Twitter) account, expressing how difficult relationships have been for him. In his words, he said: “To find love for Eko too hard for me o.” His post immediately sparked reactions, as fans recalled the controversies surrounding his past relationships. Many still remember his situation with alleged Swedish ex-girlfriend, Filma Jones, in 2022. The relationship dominated social media after Jones accused him of impregnating and abandoning her. She went as far as leaking his nude photos online to prove their intimacy. BNXN later admitted that the incident caused him emotional heartbreak, revealing it was the first time he experienced such pain. He also shared another disturbing experience involving a different woman who attempted to blackmail him with a fake pregnancy after a one-night stand. These experiences explain why love has not come easy for the singer, especially in a fast-paced city like Lagos. Following his recent post, fans flooded his timeline with messages of support, jokes, and advice. Love is a supernatural something that makes you see the other person as a brother and accept him so affectionately. But when you are looking for someone to parasite on in the name of love, it may be hard. For me love is readily available if you are ready but your intention in love is not love. |

chudez0147:Because they came to Lagos from the village too. It's natural for village people temporarily residing in Lagos to return to the village to get their wives because once they get old or retired, they return to the village or their corpses are taken back to the village where they belong and know as their final resting place. We see their corpses being moved from Lagos morgues and hospitals to their villages for burial and we don’t judge them because we know that is what they want; to return to their villages. Some of them even already have their village wives before moving to Lagos for greener pastures. True Lagosians will not take village wife let alone go back to any village for wife because your family background, upbringing, circle, networks, education, career and social interaction in Lagos alone would have brought you and your future wife together  42 Likes |

Then it would be worse in Port Harcourt and Abuja. The village too is not guaranteed. He goes to the village,finds a girl that would think will be obedient,loving and homely. She comes to the city,sees the glamour and razzmatazz and changes color. The fact is that it will be difficult for a star to find true love,unless it's a lady that he grew up with and they were there before he got famous,otherwise he should just accept transactional relationship or just get someone to have a child for him then continues living his club/transactional relationship life 4 Likes |
