Even in USA president children are well protected by CIA and other big forces even after presidential tenure is over. I'm not a big fan of Tinubu but na normal thing
. that means he must move around with 15 police men...at least 4 police men is enough for him

Seyi too should respect himself and try maintain a modest lifestyle. He is not Tinubu's only son. Why are the others not being in the news like him.
.. because he has interest in contesting for Lagos governorship election in 2027..so wants to make himself famous and popular to Nigerians and lagosians

I agree, Seyi Tinubu is not an elected official...

But as a member of the President's immediate family...his son...

Do we honestly think he is an ordinary citizenhuh

Don't we think, him being the son of the President, he is exposed to security risks than ordinary citizenhuh

Let us in all honesty, reflect on this without sentiment or emotions.

I agree with Prof Soyinka...he is not suppose to have large number of security details...but saying he is ordinary and shouldn't have any form of protection..I think that's not correct 💯
If they have addressed and tackled the insecurity and reduce it to a minimal level..they will not be any need of them moving around with too much armed police men and security men.. Tinubu promised Nigerians in 2023 campaign that he will protect lives and properties

You are talking to a whole Prof. Soyinka who is old enough to be your father or grand father....

When did Prof became an opposition....

Earlier, Someone said that you online laptop hustlers are confused on who to attack between Soyinka and abati.. But I like your courage only that you may lose your Dec salary
No I am talking to slows like you.
Who said Seyi should not have security.
Soyinka never said Seyi should not have, Soyinka is only concerned with the number so I am not addressing slow people like you

What if 4 is not enough, lets be considerate in this country , you want me to be president , you don't want me to have rest of mind. The primary targets after the president are his immediate families, if they kidnap his children now and ask him to leave the presidency or die, na that one nna want abi. ? If you can't give me equal amount of protection i have for my children , then i'm not doing

Where are you getting this twisted information from? CIA does not involve itself in any domestic matter. Additionally the president is the only person that continues to be protested after tenure is over by the SECRET SERVICE . Kamala Harris, a former VP had her security details withdrawn by Trump.

So don’t post what you don’t know.

Seyi Tinubu moves around like a sitting president, not a private citizen. That level of security isn’t protection anymore, it’s intimidation.
and how many security personnel follow a president's child? You guys will leave the core of the matter to start giving weightless excuses. Nobody said he should not be protected, the issue is how many of these personnel does he really need for such protection?

Professor Wole Soyinka has criticised the 'excessive security' deployment around President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's son, Seyi Tinubu, saying that it reflects poorly on Nigeria's security priorities.

Some online have commended Soyinka’s comments, stating that leaders’ children are not elected officials and that security should protect more than a privileged few.
This just confirmed that Abati is really very ignorant and unreasonable for him to say this. Let him also tell the US president's children that has SSS guarding them na. Oppositions are not truthful, that is why the country is like this.

Show me where U.S. presidents’ children move with convoys that shut down highways daily, harass citizens, or live permanently on state security budgets without accountability. You can’t reject U.S. standards in governance, accountability, infrastructure, and rule of law, then suddenly embrace them when defending excesses and frivolities.Normal in serious countries comes with rules, restraint, and responsibility, not entitlement.

Asking whether a president would let his child “walk freely” in an unsafe country only exposes the real failure: if the country is too unsafe for leaders’ children, why is it acceptable for everyone else? Normalizing excess because of fear is not governance, it’s hypocrisy. Fix the country! Don’t crown your kids coz you are the president
