Tinubu, through the IGP ordered the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP because a huge number of these personnel have been drafted to secure the lives of few privileged individuals you call VIP in Nigeria, while the lives of teeming population of citizens are left unconcerned and exposed to hoodlums and state actors.

What position does Seyi Tinubu occupy in government that qualifies him to move about with retinue of police officers? To shock you, even Soyinka that has maintained mute despite the wrong steps taken by Tinubu due to tribalism was forced to voice it out recently, that Seyi does not hold any key government office that should warrant his escort. Isn't that shocking? Yet, you're here bleating with sentiment without reason. He disagrees with Seyi moving around with large entourage of police officers, especially when there's FG directive halting VIP protection with the limited number of police officers available for national duty.

When laws are made or directives issued for national interest, everyone is expected to comply. But this time, NO because it affects Tinubu. How do you expect the common man to respect him as president?

To be sincere, Oseni Rufai don't really like Tinubu. I think the President's family needs protection, however they should not abuse it.
