Deeserve is one thing, to actually take it is another.
Is this the example he wants to set?

From my basic understanding about Christianity, a supposed man of God should not be seen flouting wealth & living in affluence. His major focus should be soul winning not displaying materialism. He is supposed to be modest & exemplary.

Jesus Christ never lived like that, neither did
the apostles that continued his mission after him.

No wonder he has made doctrinal errors & false teachings in many of his preachings & messages. Sadly, he's leading his gullible followers to hell

If a Dangote, Elumelu, Musk, Davido, or Zuckerberg had a massive party, congratulatory messages would be all over social medi,a but if it's a Pastor, tongues will wag. Allow him to celebrate himself. If it was poorly organized, people will talk. This is the first major birthday celebration of his that people are talking about. Pastor Chris deserves to be celebrated. He has impacted souls, touched lives, and brought healing to the nations.

Bla bla bla. Even the Jesus guy in the stupid story is a scammer. Jobless charlatan with an entourage lounging in one rich man’s house or the other. Th e religion itself is an institution of grifts and scams as typified by the oldest church, the Catholics. Chris is just aiming for pope-like wealth

Niigeria already has a problem with conspicuous consumption. Is this the example he wants to set??
Of all the hungry people, this is NOT Christ-like

I don't mind a pastor celebrating birthday, especially if he does so in modesty, humility and uses the occasion to sow seeds into the lives of less privileged ones, widows, orphans etc. That is why I respect late Prophet T.B. Joshua
Re: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome 62nd Birthday Celebration; What Is Your Take? by Originalsly: 5:43pm On Dec 11, 2025
What's wrong with him throwing a lavish birthday party? Isn't that what those who don't know God do? Even if one wants to celebrate his birthday.... Christians usually be giving stuff to the poor ... not focused on entertaining the rich. This one is supposed to be a pastor...and totally locks out the poor ....who follow him. I blame his followers...they should know he's not a man of God.

It wasn’t a lavish celebration. It was simply an idolatry festival. Yes, a man made himself look like GOD. Self-glorification at its peak. Imagine lining up people dressed up like angels to usher him into the event hall riding in a cart with a king’s crown in an attempt to recreate CHRIST’S Triumphant Entry experience.

Anyway he is the god of that denomination he leads. I have always known this fact having worshipped there in the past. I only pity Benny Hinn for going down that idolatry road with him.

Thats the king of kings right there with the crown.

See the vibration, the worship he is getting from his followers, right there is a god

Only if they knew, gods thrive in praise singing, worship, high vibrational energy, collective conscious energy these are what gods feed off.

Well even though I don't care or believe in birthday, I don't think you can use wife to judge a Christian
.
Jesus never married
Paul had no recorded wife... So it means a wife is not a criteria to measure the identity or honour of a man of God

You are probably manifesting the antichrist spirit in you.

You have the chance to denounce your antichrist antics & accept Jesus Christ into your life for you to be saved from eternal damnation.

See sacrilege! Overt self glorification and worship. Just imagine this kind of abomination. And Benn Hinn was there to conduct this ritual?

If truly it is a thing of gratitude to God for life lived, then it never happened as there is no need for all these grandiosity. Give the adulation, glory and worship to God who alone deserves it.
You never even start to the wail, weep or cry.
Na you go tell us our we wished to celebrate a man of honour our father and a King 👑 in the kingdom.
