What equipments do they have in the FMC for emergency resuscitation?
What's the acuity level of the emergency staff in terms of emergency preparedness to interpret results?

Can they comfortably do a continuous EKG on acute cardiovascular cases and interpret results as they trickle in? They would rather write an official consult to another consultant in UPTH to come over and review ordinary EKG results.😭😭. These are same EKGs nurses interpret abroad.

when we tell them to equip these proxy hospitals, train & pay people well, they renege and laugh at us.

You haven't heard that health workers are on strike because your government refused to meet their demands. Those questions should be directed at the federal government and this should be a lesson to politicians. Make the health system work and you'd benefit from it too. There are some health emergencies that wouldn't wait for them to be flown abroad before offing them. So common sense should tell the politicians to make the local health care system work!

But when government equips these government hospitals, doctors employed set up private clinics, at times one bed or two room private clinics in town; patients who came to the government hospital are diverted by the doctors to their private clinics in town, use the hospital equipment for diagnosis of health issues of patients in the doctor's private clinic, patient pays treatment charges to the doctors. Before long, the equipment and other infrastructures in the government hospital become craps.

In foreign countries especially in Europe, any doctor who indulges in the illicit practice described above risks years of years of improvement.
The question is, has government properly equipped these hospitals? You probably have not visited a government hospital to see dilapidated structures and facilities that's why you probably talking so ignorantly. Even the so called doctors you're accusing, some of them use their personal equipment which they bought with their hard earned money to treat or operate patients just because your government cannot provide these equipment and facilities. So you're obviously putting the cart before the horse in your analysis of the issues. I even thought you'd have further highlighted how your politicians don't utilize the same dilapidated health care system you're blaming on the doctors but rather use your personal tax money to fly themselves abroad to hospitals abroad which are properly equipped by reasonable governments over there. Indeed common sense is not common.

Nigeria politics. I think in recent times he has been having issues with his boss. The state house of assembly almost impeached him for not defecting to the APC. He sued them to court and the court halted the process. If not he would have been impeached. It’s well.
What are you saying? Are telling us that his death is related to his unwillingness to defect to APC

What's the difference between you and an illiterate?

Nothing
At least illiterates are humans and some of them has used their illiteracy to achieve what you have not achieved and may never achieve, not a curse but life reality.

My basis,
Some things are not just mere coincidence, He has refused to join the APC and may pose a very dreadful danger to them in Bayelsa State, there must be a way to get him out. You think I trust politicians, people that kill at will just to have their way.

Re: Bayelsa Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo Dies by KillerOfCrackas: 8:43pm On Dec 11, 2025
The story that the Deputy Governor died from working too hard doesn't make sense to me.
A deputy governor's job is to help the governor. It is not a job that is more stressful than the governor's own job. So, why are they saying he worked himself to death? It feels like a simple story to stop people from asking real questions. Also, people are saying he did not check his health. This is not a fact. We do not know about his private health. This is just a guess to make the problem seem personal, not political. We know the real facts: he refused to join the APC party with the governor and other leaders. He was going to be impeached for this. He was in court to stop it. He was also talking about joining a different party.
Suddenly, in the middle of this big political fight, he dies. They tell us it was "overwork." But we are not stupid. When a politician dies at the exact time he is causing big problems for powerful people, we should be suspicious.
We should ask for a clear and independent check into how he died. Until then, I do not believe the simple story. This looks like dirty politics, not an office problem.

After monitoring the heart rhythms, please what next, can they detect & intervene?
Can they do PCI there?
Can they do a CABG procedure there?
Can they administer Alteplase (thrombotic stroke) there and closely monitor the patient?
If his Ejection fraction had dropped to 15% sudden would they have administered dobutamine, Epinephrine and milrinone
These are all emergency procedures

Let's assume he suffered symptomatic Brady what would they have done? Would they have paced his heart?

Let's assume he suffered medication induced Long QT syndrome would they have paced his heart?
Let's return to basic BLS & ACLS..., Please how many staff are well trained for such, even in a community like the Government house, do they have working defibrillators for shockable rhythms ? When was the last time Bayelsa state shocked a patient, when was the last time FMC used a defibrillator 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️
We think these things are rocket science.
They work.

Find time to rest and check yourself medically

Two minutes silence and work goes on
Oh you think cardiac arrest happens to those who don't pay attention to their health?

No amount of intensive health care will save one from cardiac arrest.. Even sports men who prioritize their health over everything still suffer from cardiac arrest

No matter the hours of work done, one must surely rest, this is sad news, politicians should consider their health while working by taking time to rest.

So you don't know they can kill someone through vodoo by preparing a vodoo doll and invoking a person's spirit inside it, as they stab the heart of that vodoo, the person dies instantly and they tag it heart attack or lack of exercise

Besides who told you that a whole deputy governor does not go for check up or eat healthy
