That's the more reason they were agitating for Biafra cos they know it will be much easier for them to move drugs illegally through the Airport without agencies like NDLEA apprehending them. The origin of death sentence for drug offences in Asia can be traced back to Europeans colonialism, and that has left a deep cut in their psyche that it carries death penalty. When the British conquered China, they imported opium (an addictive drugs) and forced it on the Chinese people. Millions of families were ruined and the country was brought down to its knees. I don’t want to go deep into it, but it explains why drugs is an unforgivable offence for Asians. You are reminding them a chapter of their history they hate and want to forget, all for financial greed.
