I believe these trucks have owners. The owners must be sanctioned if they can't control their drivers... What a mess! |

When they venture into banditry and kidnapping and hold people into ransom their excuse for going that line is that their cattle were rustled and stolen. Now that they block both roads their excuse now is that their battery was stolen. Is this not criminal? ![]() |

MEGAWATCH:I pity some on you who were born 10 years ago, come up social media and spewing thrash in the name tribalism. You think the Yorubas are cowards? I pity you. Those who would never say these words are those who knew when the Yorubas arose to defend themselves, even in the era of General Sani Abacha's military regime...he knew what he faced. Go and ask your elders questions about those times and stop being ignorant. Even many of your loud mouthed Igbo people fled Lagos State. Several Hausas fled Lagos State. Those who couldn't flee were in panic mode. Everybody collected their share back then. Throughout the time/years that was ongoing, even government units people could not wear their uniforms to their outlets. Everywhere was hot and boiling. Even several Yorubas were in panic mode seeing what their ANGRY YORUBAS are wrecking. I don't really pray for such to repeat itself. So let the sleeping lions lie! That the Yorubas don't arise and cause violence or wrecking havoc does not mean they're cowards… they're only highly peaceful, technical, diplomatic, and calculative. But when you eventually pushed them to, you might get ripped. |

Glimpsetv:This is absolutely unacceptable. Blocking a major expressway like Lagos-Ibadan because of a stolen battery is not protest; it’s criminal extortion and reckless endangerment of thousands of lives. People heading to work, hospitals, airports, and families travelling were all held hostage for hours over one private dispute. If a battery was truly stolen, the correct thing is to report to the nearest police station and let law enforcement investigate. Not to turn yourselves into a mob and paralyse an entire highway. The police on ground should have done better too. Once the boys refused to clear the road after reasonable pleading, tow trucks and arrests should have followed immediately. Allowing this kind of jungle justice on a federal highway sets a dangerous precedent. Next time it will be a stolen phone, tomorrow a minor accident, and the whole country will keep grinding to a halt. We cannot continue to tolerate this. The government must make an example of every single person involved: drivers, truck owners, and anyone who participated. Heavy fines, vehicle impoundment, and jail time will send the message that Nigerian roads belong to all citizens, not to any tribe or group that feels like throwing a tantrum. Enough is enough. Law and order must return to our highways. |

Na Yahaya Bello fit this people, the former governor would dispersed them, use towing trucks to tow them away and they will pay fine before those trucks are released. What nonsense. |
