Why Tinubu Is After Chris Ngige by owobokiri(op): 6:07am On Dec 12, 2025
All these charges against Sen Chris Ngige for corruption are diversionary. These are nothing but framed up charges leveled against an astute igbo politician who has vehemently refused to kowtow to the dictates of a tribal government led by characters suffering from an acute strand of igbo phobia..

Ngige used to work with Tinubu even before APC.
What changed was when Ngige noticed that the whole APC arrangements were being orchestrated to enthrone a Tinubu/South West government. Of course he naturally rebelled against that since federal leadership in Nigeria should never be made a preserve of just two regions!

These led to subliminal attacks against his person and attempts to get rid of him from the Buhari administration by Tinubu and his political cohorts. You remember when Smart Adeyemi who ostensibly was of the same party with Chris Ngige went as far doing everything to unravel Ngige at a parliamentary hearing? Bet you thought that Adeyemi was fighting for Nigerians. He was actually fighting for Tinubu.
Tinubu is now in power and the attacks have started..

**Is ngige guilty as charged?? That question doesn't matter. What matters is "he's igbo" so he mustn't be touched!

Ngige is a good man. But he should have known that no man can fight the government and win.

So what do you want me to do now, both criminals don't know whether I exist or not. Let them enjoy their fight.

With what happened to Chris Ngige these few days, we now know who are the so-called "Unknown Gunmen".

They blew themselves out of the water..

I mean it is obvious that it was the same characters that attacked his convoy at Anambra that went and got him arrested at Abuja.

And I have been saying it here for donkey years that the way some of you pro establishment internet hire lings announce these attacks even before anyone in the east becomes aware is suspicious..

The question is; who shot at Chris Ngiges convoy few days ago!?
If they wanted to arrest him, why not invite him? Why shoot up his convoy and blame the ubiquitous "Unknown Gunmen"huh

There are discrepancies in what you posted, because the Honourable Member was Abiodun Faleke, and not Senator Adeyemi Smart. Also, Ngige never worked against Tinubu at any time (at least not openly). The question you should ask yourself is, "Did Sen. Chris Ngige misappropriate public funds while in office?" Anyway, I already know your answer to my question; the answer is, "Was it only him that stole government money?" I would rather admonish you to desist from this kind of defense; it does nobody any good. Let criminals, regardless of their tribe or religion, answer to their crimes.

The charges against Ngige are not diversionary. They are legitimate.
Re: Why Tinubu Is After Chris Ngige by EponObi(f): 6:35am On Dec 12, 2025
ChatGPT, translate owobokiri to Yoruba.

“Owobokiri” in Yoruba is “oṣinwín” (also written as osinwin). In the case of this particular osinwin, it can also translate to Àngánà Fùté-fùté.

To a bigoted individual every probing is a witch-hunt, they demonize every other leaders not from their region but cry whenever the anyone from their region is called to answer his stewardship.

You didn't see them open irritating thread when Yahya Bello is being grilled, Mallami slept in EFCC office over corruption charges but his people never claim it was witch hunt. It gets to the Obidients now cry full everywhere
Re: Why Tinubu Is After Chris Ngige by Ttalk: 7:08am On Dec 12, 2025
Ngige didnt spend his money on you, your community or your state, he stole the money for personal use, yet you take it upon your head to be his advocate because he is an Igbo person, when are you going to have sense?

Your region is deserted because there's no opportunity due to leadership failure, yet you chose to defend those who have destroyed your region. Today SW has become your home, you have no choice than to live in the north where there is terrorism simply because your leaders are selfish and didn't do anything for your region, get sense for once, and expose your leaders that are taking you for granted

You want to spin narrative but you don't even have any fact but lies upon lies.

For record, Smart Adeyemi never had any altercation with Chris Ngige, you have seen how hatred can blur vision and make one to lie recklessly on SM.

Oga, stop creating useless threads. Allegations have been levelled against Chris Ngige. He will go to court and defend himself. Everything is witch-hunting to you people.

I always say that Nigerians don't want this country to work. Those who cry of oppression or marginalization aren't any different from those marginalizing or oppressing them. Their only anger is that they don't have the opportunity the oppressors have.

My own problem with una is that while they are serving and people calls out their bluffs, una go defend them to high heavens

Ngige messed the labour unions up, did so many unthinkable things and we cheer him, but now Una wan make we believe say he don pack money

Once accountability is non-existent, there's little or nothing that can be done

Whether he "packed moni" or not is not for you and I to decide; it's between him and the law! Let him argue his case in court, not on social media!

Why is fashola not arguing his case in court? Or is he clean? Arigbosola nko? Why is Lai Muhammed walking free. Why is the government recommending an ex government official found with over 50 million dollars cash in a private residence for an ambassadorial appointment? Why the selective "fight" against corruptionhuh
Re: Why Tinubu Is After Chris Ngige by DomPerignon: 10:52am On Dec 12, 2025
The OP should understand that all Buhari's cabinet ministers and appointees are undergoing investigation.

When the former minister for Aviation was arrested and now facing criminal case in a Federal High Court, you didn't see mouth talk.

When Malami was arrested, you didn't say it was anti Northern agenda.

But when it has reached the turn of Ngige who served in same corrupt Buhari govt , you now see an igbophobic agenda.

Reminds of how Ohaneze came out to condemn Emefile's arrest as an attempt of committing ''IBO genocide''.

A case of my thief is holier than yours.

Even your write up is highly speculative and your only evidence is a Senatorial hearing spat between Ngige and a member of the Senate committee.
Re: Why Tinubu Is After Chris Ngige by Prince16: 10:55am On Dec 12, 2025
Which cases are they not arguing in court Biko?
I didn't see you complain when yaya bello, malami, etc were called in for questioning.
Na only when it concerns a fellow kinsman that all hell is let loose, abi nor be so??

You couldnt call him out directly. Instead, you supported his point that some groups are being witchhunted by others
Typical you

The SW president and his people now see ngigi as thr next trophy like Kanu.He has openly said he won't ever condemn obi
And has refused to support SW president.
He is now corrupt but they want to give formal abia governor ambassador. The igbos should know how this present government hates the real good ones among them. They prefer to deal with the sell out few among us

I want to see Tinubu go after his fellow "Lagos boys" too. Or are you guys saying those ones did nothing wrong? Fashola and his "website maintenance contracts "?

Leave Yaya Bello and Malami. We all know why he went after them.
Let him go after all the lootocrats in the country. Let him stop pampering his ethnic henchmen. Selective "fight" against corruption is called corruption.

And you guys will need to stop with the gaslighting. I don't know Ngige personally. But when you see an attempt to liquidate a political opponent using state instruments, you should be able to condemn that..

Still waiting for the breaking news when other ministers in Buhari regime to be called up by the efcc, including the one that promised 24 hours uninterrupted power supply not until few years after the opportunity presented itself for him to prove his it matters entered cho-cho cho blames upon blames and excuses that full the whole of Dangote trailers.

After all the huge spending baba still dey walk the street a free man, this invitation must reach all Buhari ministers

So Tinubu are looking for guilty people? How many APC members in his circle has he charged? Or you mean they are all saints?

He went after Emefiele and we all know why, you can't gaslight anybody with your political Taqiyaa grin
