Several members of the ADC coalition have complained that other leaders of the coalition are mobilising support for ADC, but Peter Obi is yet to start mobilising support for the party.

Prince Henry Nwazuruahu Shield was a long term PDP supporter before he started supporting the ADC coalition.

Dr. Sam Amadi is a former chairman of the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (he was appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan). He is a supporter of Mr Peter Obi. He was quoting a post about Peter Obi's visit to the College of Nursing Sciences in Imo State.

Na obi senseless followers go help timubu do am with their pride

atiku has always have a thing for obi, even obi loves working with him

It was the pdp governor's forum that said they needed their own as VP to support atiku

Everybody knows how fractured things were when atiku defeated wike and he was lobbying the govs to join him ditch atiku

That was the concession atiku had to make, he couldn't have been president and brought his vp

Atiku has always been unfortunate with alignment not favouring him anytime he wants to contest

Stop changing facts
We prefer Tinubu to continue than falling into another second Buhari

You seem not to understand what's up, all these scenarios I painted was long before the primaries not primaries and post primary issues. Anyone who would have been used should get a clue long before the primaries, as I said they underestimated him and took him like small boy who shouldn't know his fate until after the primaries (wrong move), they can't do that shit now anymore knowing that he has proved himself beyond every reasonable doubt unlike pre-2023
This is the mistake you guys keep making , obi got those votes cos of the Muslim Muslim ticket , majority of Christian South who are not active party members voted for obi , the north tacitly supported the Muslim ticket that's why obi didn't perform well in the North.

Now that Christians have seen that tinubu is not a religious bigot , obi won't get such numbers again, especially after showing his true color to the same churches that mobilised for him .

You can argue all you want oh but next year you will understand better .

Re: ADC: Obi Will Get Votes - Sam Amadi by Jonjam269: 10:28am On Dec 13, 2025
All these knee-jerk analyses are pure noise. The reality is simple: Obi and Atiku are both stuck in a political cul-de-sac. Whether they run together or apart, the destination is the same, premium tears and another crushing defeat.

They had their best chance in 2023 and blew it. If they couldn’t defeat a master tactician like Tinubu in 2023, despite coordinated media attacks, endless propaganda, court cases, and even the currency swap, then dreaming of defeating him now as a sitting president is pure delusion.

The political terrain has shifted completely, and the momentum is nowhere near the opposition.

These analyses are not strategy, they’re emotional therapy, designed to keep opposition figures relevant and give keypad warriors something to console themselves with.

Atiku, the Dubai landlord and serial election loser, has nothing new to offer except lessons in defeat, lessons the serial party hopper, Obi seems eager to master.
Re: ADC: Obi Will Get Votes - Sam Amadi by Prince16: 10:35am On Dec 13, 2025
Politics is like trading to the likes of Peter obi and that's where he missed it.

Does he have at least 20 years to spare like jagaban did?? He doesn't want to do primaries. He doesn't want to give shi-shi, he doesn't want to sow while others reap in expectation of a future reciprocation ala Tinubu>>>buhari.
He just wants everything dropped on his laps. E eazy??

Better advise him to face his importation biz jejely.

Though I am not a fan of Peter Obi, I admire his stance. Yes, I call him Obi Pandora because anyone who is a public servant and invests in Padora or similar companies while holding public office is a thief. Argue with me on this, and you will receive no response.

However, his decision not to work with Atiku now is the best strategy. Obi should go get a Labor or any other party ticket to fly again, and let Atiku kill everyone else in ADC with his money. If Obi competes in the same primary as Atiku, he will lose. The only person who can beat Atiku and has done so more than twice is Bola Tinubu, because Atiku's dollars are nothing compared to Tinubu's. According to Atiku, the only person who can surpass him is Tinubu, who has supported both Atiku and Ribadu. They understand his capabilities. Rather than wait for a new election and remain in France, Tinubu continued to pay. And he has been doing this since the days of NADECO. Ask Dele Momodu, who kept things interesting for them in the UK when they fled from Abacha. Lol. Dele Momodu stated that they always met at his home, and he would settle the majority of the bills. Even support some of them. It's why Dele calls him "egbon" till today. Tinubu invests in people. He may be dubious about his investment strategy, but it is not obvious that he purchased them like Atiku. Atiku makes it clear that he is buying you. This is the difference, and it is why people remain loyal to him. However, if someone cuts you off, thoroughly investigate the person. That fellow may have seen the "real light" or been greedy. People like Aregbesola got greedy. No one can tell me otherwise. But I have my reservation about Osinbajo. Why? He may have seen the light and decided to compete against him, but it was clear that God had not instructed him to. So, when he lost, he walked away from the situation and did not criticize Tinubu in any way. But look at Aregbesola. That's the difference. Perhaps if Osinbajo had listened to God more carefully, he would not have contested. And now he would be the one to enter Aso Rock and tell Tinubu the truth. But how can Osinbajo claim he wants to tell him the truth when he knows what he did?

So, back to Obi. Obi needs to just keep being popular. And boom....he should nor contest of I were him. Let him move into Bola Tinubu's mode. Boom. He would nominate Atiku for Vice President and then strike a deal with Osinbajo, similar to Tinubu's. It is better for that person to betray Obi later than for Obi to become Atiku's Vice President or for him to run again and lose badly. He won't get Abuja and Lagos next time. Never will he get the two cities again. And the whole of the northern land still dey deceive him. Let him not show Nigerians how weak he is, but instead pull his weight with the north, align more with them, and persuade Atiku to support him after his tenure. Obi has more years ahead of him. All he needs to do is go the Tinubu path again. Invest heavily in a good doctor abroad. That's it. Get a home there and visit it frequently to plan how to live a long life, and most importantly, he must be prayerful.

If he goes this route...forgot it...Obi will become the president of Nigeria after Atiku's 4 years. Atiku is desperate now, so, let him sign 4 years. Atiku will do everything to do it. After 4 years, he will turn to Obi to change it. At that point, Obi must rely on Atiku's supporters to keep their promise. Let there be an Imam and many powerful people from the north and south, along with videos. If Obi gives him another four years, he will take something significant from him again. That's how to go about it. Obi get so many chieftaincy titles in the north. Get access to surplus cash to throw around. Above all....invest heavily in predictive analytics to made better decisions. If he can not find experts, he might want to quickly connect with Fashola, who knows the game very well. Fashola sef no sabi anything there, but he knows how to get some good guys. That is if Fashola won't betray him. Lol. So. Let Obi do his homework very well.

I thank God for revealing to me the potential of predictive analytics. That thing is simply too powerful. There is no need for intuition again. I swear it is like entering the spiritual realm and foretelling the future. Too powerful.
Started well but got to the point of Aregbesola and I had to go back and read everything again and it is still the same thing, feudalism.

The politics of black Africa where individual loyalties are sought, cultivated or bought (which you rightly oppose) in the quest to build political fiefdoms.

Yes, I understand that in the context of cultural Africa. But this is one major reason why democracy does not work for the good of African societies. We build too much of individuals and are considerably weak collectively. We look at democracy as rulership instead of servitude.

It is a servant that will naturally take criticism without offence but a ruler cannot. According to you it is right for an Osibanjo who may have something to offer, to shut up and go away or 'wait for his turn', because he was nominated Vice by someone who you feel owns him? while the contest and criticism of an Aregbesola is terrible, abhorrent and rebellious. I don't get it.

This is government we are talking about. A call to service and not personal business, not marriage or religious officialdom. I just don't understand how we are all expected in a democracy to fall in line with one man, one vision, one ideology, one way as the only way. These are the shortcomings of monarchies and why they rise and fall....one leg.

If you really understand what democracy is about then you recognize that the ownership is by the people meaning it is sustained and refreshed by numbers, and the greater the numbers contributing actively to it the more stable, prosperous and enduring it will be.

Please let us find a way to rid our minds of this feudal nature. No man in this business is more equal than the other and the fact that this present leader is succeeding in his ways does not make it a law of nature. As a matter of fact it is an aberration to seek autocratic rule and as we have seen in many African so called democracies the day that maxim leader passes or is removed the nation enters an era of extreme instability.

Please leave Mr Aregbe alone. No fan of his.
I consider him a poor.quality administrator but he has every right to chart his own political course and will be politically examined and tested for that.

Then why bother.
And then what do you call what are doing...time wasting? Because the way we pratice our own is not improving the nation.

Again, that is why we play hopscotch with military rule since we cannot work democracy the way it should be done.

But I wish to remind us that western styled democracy was not native to Asia or the Americas. As a matter of fact much of South East Asia and Latin America had military dictatorships right up to the seventies and eighties but almost all.those countries are constitutional, multiparty democracies today and are thriving at it. Wither Africa.
