What results has this government achieved with the money it has borrowed to date?. As you rightly observed, productivity is not only low, it is dangerously low, and after two and a half years of grandstanding, what can this government concretely show Nigerians as its deliverables?.

The other question is, whose job is it to improve the situation of Nigeria and her citizens today, Peter Obi's or Tinubu's?. Look, while it is not okay to be mendacious about obvious situations, it may be advisable to do so intelligently if you must.
You can't be waiting to be vindicated like in terms of security and still be asking the questions above. You got things to be vindicated about, rejoice

Would prefer real Nigerians to ask the questions and respond accordingly

What are we currently producing that would have increased our earnings? The electricity that could have boosted the productivity in the country, we are still shouting Up Nepa . The generator importer, cable vandalizers, Nepa boss having fuel stations have been the factors affecting stable electricity in Nigeria
but the useless APC you supported so blindly has been in power for over a decade and couldn’t fix the electricity issue, yet you come out everyday to glorify their failures. Are you sure you have sense at all?

When PDP was still in leadership, This was the same way APC was making noise and acting all saint. One would think the APC would be a miracle problem solver, only to turn out worse.

I'm sure if Obi becomes president today, the same crop under APC will migrate to continue the damages they've always done to the country.
Believe me or not, there is no good or godsent politician in Africa.

Dont let anybody fool you
You share my view
God bless you.

It's only a foolish person will think one Govt will be better than other

Yes na and that was why I was trying to educate you on what governance is all about not to be listening to a trader that knows nothing about politics making himself looking politically important whereas he is just a bloody opportunist political lizard.

Okay. As Peter Obi has been donating money for charity, let him also donate the loan money to Nigeria, president Tinubu won't borrow again

Muson and Moson are pronounced the same

The Voodoo economists don't want FG to increase the tax , still don't want them to borrow when our productivity as a country is low, how will the government function without having money to run errands?

They have abused the word opposition by opposing for no meaningful reason
Rest oga. Someone said he has met his financial target for the year what is he borrowing money for again?

Hmm… Obi raises some valid points. 🤔 If 2025 revenues are already supposedly met, why is there a push for ₦20 trillion more in borrowing for 2026? It really makes you wonder where all the money is going and whether these loans are actually boosting the economy or just piling up debt. What do you guys think—are we just repeating the same borrowing cycle every year?

There was a country. Confused urchins and thieves leading Nigeria. Now, we are all paying for not standing up to Amoda after the abracadabra 2023 election.

Oga have small conscience. Someone is asking relevant questions to hold the government to account and you are busy attacking him.
What did he do for his state when he was governor? He has no worthy credentials

What has he done in the last two years to justify subsidy removal?

We are saving hence our FX have increased in % than in the last decade

We are servicing debt more than before even though we are taking new ones. But when you do the calculation, we have paid debt than borrowing.

The state governors for over a year now have received nothing less than 35% increase from their monthly money from the FG, that's from the proceedings of subsidy

LG now have autonomy, they also have increase in their payment from FG

Those projects across the country, it's still part is the subsidy saved money we are using

The rest of your epistle is rambling
And you believe this nonsense you put up here

If this is what subsidy removal can do, abeg make them bring am back

We all know Tinubu is a failure, no matter how you want to sugarcoat it

Everything he's doing now, governments before did it better even with subsidy

So what are we saying?

Governors are redundant and more lazy under him, just align with him and his party and you're good

So after all the subsidy removals, your government is still borrowing up to trillions?

Isn't it a shame?
Your almighty US you like to compare Nigeria to, borrow more than Nigeria go and verify. The issue here is what is the Loan for ? And is it properly utilized?

Oga please don't go there. Even before 2023 elections people outlined his achievements yet you still ask the same question. Bros this kind of gaslighting never works. Even if they paste his achievements, one week later you will still ask the same questions again.

Mr Peter Obi has criticized Tinubu’s request to borrow 20trillion naira to finance the 2026 budget while the federal government is still implementing 2024 budget.

According to Mr Obi, the Federal Government has not touched the 2025 budget at all.

He equally questions the rationale behind the borrowing when government announced that they had met their revenue target as far back as in August. So, where’s the money?

Source
Mumu man, Federal government is borrowing from itself, it is transparency to ask. Past government just withdraws federal bonds without due process. The funds is government's funds raised through bonds - Only a dumb person like Obi who does not understand anything at all een when his friend Rufai gave him an advance interview questions, he was still reading from the booklet, he can't answer what they wrote for him. How do you expect him and his fellow back benchers in nairaland to understand what this is.

I hate social media; it has given back benchers in school days a voice- they can now hide behind their keyboards and vomit that nonsense that is the bedrock of their empty skull.
