yes before the resurrection of Christ everyone who died went to hell and that is because the price for redemption had not being paid but however, those who died in the faith of God's promise when separated from those who died without God and they were conforted pending when Jesus would fulfill die for sin.
So after Jesus had finished the work on hell, he went to hell to reveal himself to the dead and bring out those who died in faith of God's promise so that after Jesus resurrection any saints who die go straight to be with Christ.

John the baptist, Stephen, James and many other born again Christians died after Jesus' resurrection yet Paul still referred to them as "dead" who will rise! 1Thessalonians 4:16

So please from where will they rise because Paul said it's after resurrection that they will be with the Christ? 1Thessalonians 4:17🤔

The human judge was chosen by humans to help put the society in order so it's the citizens that gain when evil ones are sent to a place of inactivity where they won't have the opportunity to inflict pain on law-abiding citizens.

That's exactly what God promised to do not tormenting living creatures! Psalms 37:9-11

The Bible is replete with the evidence you seek but the evidence is accessed by faith in what you hear from the Bible and corroborated by what you see in creation. It's your choice though to or not to believe. No compulsion whatsoever!
