Since 1973, when the last census which included religion was done, we haven't counted people by religion in this country, so we don't actually know how many christians and muslims there are in this country. We don't even know how many people in each denomination of christianity there are in this country.

China 🇨🇳 is a majority Atheist country while India is majority Hindu country, other religions like Christianity or Islam are minorities in these countries.

The Southern part of the country is the stronghold of Christianity, so the genocide in the core northern states does not affect the Southern Christian population.

Just compare the countries were islam is the highest and that of where Christians are highest, you will know and see the difference between the two religion.

Since then we have had 2 censuses where there was no religion in the questions

A christian is someone,who is practicing to be Christ like, he's not a perfect person.

A church is not a place for a perfect being but for sinners to come and hear the word so as to become a better person.

So a country with large population of christians doesn't means it will be economically developed.

Progress and development has nothing to do with your religion but the principles of wealth creation and development
