I guess your kids haven't reached the age when you'd get to know who they really are or when they'd show you their true colours. It's only after that age when they can face off with their parents that you can say for sure your approach has really worked ... but, I doubt it ever works! Mind you, kids can pretend to be all obedient and submissive, but just wait till they're at the age of asserting themselves or when they believe they've come of age than to be the kids they used to be, kids that their parents pushed around.

You are just going in circles dear friend. The ones you are beating like animals today, what assurance do you have that when they become teenagers, they won't be telling you that "it can't pass beating"?
Beatings shouldn't be the first line of action when it comes to raising and training your kids, setting boundaries is. Making sure they don't have things their ways always, that's all. Beating only put fear in your kids, but you wouldn't know better because you, yourself are a product of beating

This is why you should listen to parent who already has kids and his method is working.
Your kids will mess up but how do you respond clearly matters. They're kids, they must learn through mistakes. Their first mistake, you must correct it with words and love, not inflicting severe pains on them just like that. Second time, you are free to adopt different approach. But right from infancy, boundaries must be set. I guess many of you don't know what boundaries setting is
