They would need a different method for calculating taxes for POS agents. For example, a POS agent may process a ₦1,000,000 card withdrawal but charge only ₦5,000 or less as a service fee. The government can only tax the ₦5,000 earned, not the entire ₦1,000,000 transaction.

Since most POS businesses are registered, all transactions on their accounts are recorded as cash withdrawals, even though only a small portion is actual income. The same applies to a supermarket: it may sell a bag of rice for ₦80,000 through a POS, but its profit might be only ₦10,000. Any tax charged should be based on that ₦10,000 profit, not the full ₦80,000 sale amount.

So would you rather they charge you on the entire 1 million Naira or on the 5k profit. I'm opening a small pos stand soon and thats where payment for all my gigs would go, but first I'd wait till January to see how the implementation goes

Go and get a POS or an agent account from any of these POS companies and use it for receiving payments. Let's see how they would calculate the tax from a pos account. For monies you don't have plans of using, just save it as usdt on any crypto wallet of your choice.

That is not quite it but it is a good start. You can go ahead and try it but be aware of the associated risks. There are a whole lot of risks you have to consider and if you you want this to work, do it before jan1 2026 but beware of the risks.

SoMething as simple as what you have stated can cause severe headaches to the government but Beware of the risks. There is a big chance of losing all your savings USDT itself can crash just like terra luna. Another way is to convert everything to cash. Cash will be tge new gold.
The reason I said I give up is because there are few Nigerians who are tech savvy to the extent of being able to carry out my plans and nobody is willing to offer me any incentive so I shelved it all.
