Until you buy the Range Rover. The Corrolla owner is far better than the one who trecks.

It all depends on your motive. "Hustling " in another African country may not be too easy. For me, my Europe is Ethiopia. I'm enjoying every bit of my stay here and I have met a couple of legit Nigerians that are doing well for themselves. Just make sure you have correct documents. BTW, I am an English Language teacher.

There are many many Nigerians making it big time in African countries who don't announce it on social media sir.

I used to know a Nigerian making about 20k USD profit every month in his business in a country in West Africa before fear made him to shut down the business after he faced some threats from indigenous rivals.

Do you know that there are Nigerians with companies making millions around African countries?

Are you resident in Burkina Faso? Don't be deceived by those military-managed and packaged news stories you see all over the internet. Your eyes go clear when you reach there.

In fact avoid African countries by all means this period except South Africa and maybe Ghana. Military takeovers are sweeping the continent. You don't want to be trapped in an unstable country where you are not a citizen.

Namibia , specks English, high quality of life, agriculture or commerce is ok, have whites and blacks, so easy to assimilate into the culture. 1000 Namibia dollars is equal to 86k in naira. 3rd safest country in Africa. Reach there, find one oyibo white girl marry and enjoy your life, visit Nigeria once in a while and run back

You think Europe and America is heaven, even citizens here are struggling with poverty, in US people are canceling medical insurance because its too expensive most people own nothing outright even the house u bought u still pay taxes on it. I hate to say this because as a Lagosian most of our families are a mix of Christians and Muslims but avoid any country with large population of radical Islamic elements. Not every people will be as accommodating as the Yorubas. Ghanaians are also very good despite having sizeable number of Muslims.

Ask the person his field or profession in the US. That will give you a good idea why that is the case. Some systems are not for every Tom, Dick, and Harry but very rewarding for those that are really needed.

When you step out to ANY Africa country, then you will cherish and appreciate Nigeria. Talking from experience

The cost of living in these other African countries is insane. Nigeria has one of the lowest cost of living in the entire continent, if you remove Lagos.

Except the insecurity issue which is gradually turning into something else, the only area these African countries are better than Nigeria is infrastructure, nothing else, if you ask me. Nigeria is terribly lagging behind in infrastructure.

Some European countries are even bad too. I will not even advise anyone to go to the UK these period. The place to japa to na still USA. Followed by Canada.

Another thing have notice about Japa information they only tell u about hustling never tell u about the laws of that country the behaviour of the pple esp. Nigerians. Nigerians have bad reputation in some of these countries. Plus the issue of envy. Remember japa to another black man country u have to be careful bcoz black country no dey follow laws like oyinbo

oga forget those people. There are just showing you the outside clothes but deep down, they are facing seriously policy issues!

I know many have closed down and coming back to Nigeria to re establish.

Here’s my take based on experience and observation:
Mauritius — if your priority is stability, safety, peace of mind, and the easiest place to settle and do business.

Rwanda — if you’re focused on efficiency, strong governance, and being part of a fast-rising, opportunity-driven economy.

Botswana or Morocco — solid alternatives if you want political stability, security, and good quality of life outside the island/East African setup.

Doing business in Mauritius you need about $500k to invest, and the purchasing power is not that much since the population is low

If not for the worsened foreign exchange, Cotonou remains one of the best but certainly not Ghana. Rwanda might not be too favorable for heavy business except good investment in agriculture might yield well, same with Kenya. Abidjan is another good choice but the high cost of living together with language barrier might slow things down. Above all, consider the good acceptance of Nigerians before you move

But don't go there with the Nigerian mentality of cutting corners.
