Remember Burkina faso is part of a confederation named AES and alliance of sahel states in West Africa so am attack on one is an attack on all and mind you if things escalate militarily these countries will seek international support to face ECOWAS. the question now is can Nigeria be able to hold off these countries considering the fact that we have internal issues already.

Tactically it's a big problem to attempt to go to war with them. Those 3 countries represent 60% of the land mass of West Africa and with access to the sea through Guinea and Guinea Bisau and Algeria being friendly towards them, it will not be walk in the park. It will destabilise the whole region and open opportunities for Islamic terrorists to wreck more havoc on the region. It is you who is doing wrong analysis. You are not fighting Burkina Fasso, you are fighting the Alliance of Sahel States, or AES, a Military confederation formed between Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso, with a formal military cooperation agreement with Russia (Signed on August 14, 2025 in Russia). And who told you that the AES will use conventional warfare?. They are not dumbs, they can use all kinds of guerrilla warfare and if Nigeria try to penetrate AES it will be similar to a Vietnam scenario because all the population in the AES is extremly united behind the military establishment and the intensity of their patriotism is similar to fanaticism.
