Wickedtruths:And that is supposedly within people from the same tribe ( Though historically there was no unity among the tribes in Nigeria. Hausas were divided into several nations for example that fought with each other, and sometimes came under domination from empires like the Songhay and later the Fulani caliphate. Yourbas used to refer to subjects of the Alaafin who came from different tribes , and then igbo land was not a united polity It was colonial rule that forced many tribes to unite within in common ground against the colonial rulers and this led to unity among different tribes nationally.
