Petrol business is worse business presently in Nigeria. My friend dropped 45K liters of PMS on Friday, Dangote dropped price with about #200 per liter. Lots of other filling stations bought PMS too😥

That's why investigations should be conducted to check whether the price cuts are based on ethical competitors or not.

Guys let us get the point here, Dangote is not saying the truth as the truth rather, he is selfishly damaging this man to get a way to become the ' Main Man ' in the oil industry.
As a capitalist that Dangote is, he is after his interest and not Nigeria's.

He's not stopping others from operating local refineries however he's against importing. It should stop.

let price war kill import so that it dies a natural death. People where snuggling rice into the country, at a point when local rice farmers started cleaning and de-stoning local rice, people buy local rice now. He should crash the import price to 400 or 200 naira and watch import die a natural death. If people still import and makes profit, it shows that the price can still go lower

There’s an old saying that suggests he who alleges must prove. Something is definitely sinister with this allegation from Dangote. Stopped reading at the point where complaints about flooding the markets with imports was tacked on. Not absolving the NMDPRA chief, but I also did not know Dangote was a subdivision of the EFCC as well, such that they are now tracking and investigating personal expenses of public office holders. If they have anything credible they can file a petition to the appropriate authorities and focus on their business, rather than engaging in this mudslinging exercise

It is not easy to make a huge investment. There are not up to 10 Africans that invest 20b dollars. Dangote did what seems impossible. If you are wanting for some one to do it, it might be off the way. There are a lot of other business sectors waiting for huge investment. But we are still waiting for him to come into the STEEL industry to save us

I'm of the opinion that people who aren't from any of the oil-producing states shouldn't be made head of any oil and gas agency or parastatal.

He actually mentioned something relating to this, he said this forces crude sellers to ṣell to him at premium, that is, above global market price for crude, so even though he is paying in naira, he is still paying high price
I hope those familiar with oil market can explain how the mass importation licence affects crude pricing
