I like how Tinubu is quietly dealing with some Northern Oligarchs If you don't want FG to sleep.. then you wouldn't sleep too Yes a Dangote monopoly is dangerous but the free for all looting of before is far worse. This NMPDRA boss will curse Dangote but he is definitely losing his job very soon. Mouth of Dangote, hand of FG. More public whistleblowing to come. |

Dangote reduced his price to corner the people, their sympathy and every other things to himself. He then systematically attack NMDPRA, choosing the head, Farouk, for his hits. This guy is simply playing a kind of resistance as it is played out in the movie Money Heist. (simply make the established system the villain, give the populace some goodies to earn their sympathy, then direct them to destroy the enemy, the establishment). In this case NMDPRA which gave licence out to importers to scout refined products from Russia is the establishment. The question is that why should Dangote lose sleep if anyone choose to import their productd and sell at lose? Why should Dangote cry if importers chose to import and spill their products all over the sea? Another question people fail to ask, what magic happened now that made Dangote reduce the price of his product? Has crude oil price in the international market crashed? Did FG waived import duties or the shipping cost suddenly reduced? All along, Dangote is manipulating the market selling exhorbitantly to Nigerians and now that he sees some guys ar going out to bring in fuel which could compete with him, he panicked, rush and reduced price, and now attacking NMDPRA for issuing licence for importation. What he has been doing is profiteering which is a crime. Nigeria should wise up, the Greek gift and sudden Santa gifting from Dangote is to weed out competition. And the importers are here to stay. If they can get fuel at a reduced price from anywhere, they should be allowed to do it. |

Where did Alhaji get this news from, but one thing that is sure is that nothing is hidden. This man should be investigated and this is why I will keep saying this every government official either elected, appointed, staff, should be barred from using Private facilities, they should be forced to use the facilities around their jurisdiction It will reduce corruption and increase efficiency. |

God1000:In all this what I see is that I pity the major marketers who are still siding with the nnpc to compete with dangote. Like any other big investors, all they want is minimum or no competition at all. If care sis not taken , he will still drop the price and he'll will not let loose. The major marketers should just reconsider their ways, set emotions apart and do business with dangote until they are able to build their own refinery or have one they have say on. Till that happens, he won't make una mind touch ground. |
