China and the World Bank are Nigeria's major creditors and we owe them along with the ADB and Public Creditors a total of N200,000,000,000,000 President Tinubu is planning another N20,000,000,000,000 loan. Since they removed fuel subsidy, what did they do with the money? No answer. You plan to subject a poor nation like Nigeria to 25% tax, will the tax system and income from the tax be transparent and made Public for all to see? No. Will the tax rate be increased in future? Most likely. Will the new tax affect inflation( increase in price of goods and services) ? Yes most certainly. I don't feel sorry for anyone, I have written enough on this so it is up to you now to take action. I will remind you again probably mid-2026. And talking about sabotaging the tax system, Nigerians are not capable even if you explain it to them, they lack the discipline to carry it out. This is me now giving up on all of you. I am going to take care of myself. Happy Christmas in advance. Wish you all the best 👍 👌. |

During the 2023 election matters, one popular APC supporter on X (late Twitter) said stuff like: "Unpopular opinion: any governor that did not incur debt did nothing for his state. Governors that really work have to borrow money to complete projects." He said this to mock a popular candidate whose records supposedly showed that he never borrowed during his tenure as governor. |

We owe it to ourselves to make this work. The debt situation is serious, but we need to be patient and see how the reforms play out. The fuel subsidy removal is a big step, and we should start seeing the benefits soon. |

This is the same Yemi Cardoso that people were calling for his head just last month. Now he is the best thing since sliced bread. What did they do with the money from removing the subsidy? We are still figuring that out. |
