I was amazed yesterday when I drop a post in respect to frank Edwards and so many comments of people asking who are the big 3 it's just like asking who are the top 3 in football for a long time now. Despite hearing the names of Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo and the prince who never became king, neymar.. even if you weren't a football fan!..Drops pen.... King0G pro music Analyst......

T0BY:I think what he meant in the other thread was frank Edwards is the only gospel artist that can compete with the big 3 even though they do secular |

OBO for a reason. The “Big 3” debate will always come down to perspective, and for me, Davido stands out, not because of hype or fan wars, but because of impact and connection. His music cuts across regions, age groups, and social classes. Whether it’s a club, a wedding, a street corner, or a stadium, Davido’s songs consistently bring energy and unity. Beyond the hits, there’s also the personality, accessible, relatable, and unapologetically African. You don’t have to overanalyze his catalogue; the numbers, the consistency, and the reception speak for themselves. No Grammy yet, yes but influence and relevance within Nigeria and Africa remain undeniable. Respect to Burna Boy for global dominance and Wizkid for longevity and aura, legends in their own right. But when it comes to what I enjoy and what moves the people around me, Davido’s music does it effortlessly. That’s my take. No hate, just preference. |

Sincerely,Rema overrated himself into big 4. For someone Donjazzy said they spent 4 million dollars to promote his music globally and still don't have catalogue depth |

thesicilian:And you don't know 2face has since become obsolete (YESTERYEARS HIT-MAN) In your marking grade, Micheal Jackson is still the biggest singer now, since, he once ruled the world of music. ....and more reason baba resulted to social media drama on romantic and relationship/ marriage lately, doing this in order not be totally FORGOTTEN ....... always come online to criticize, conderm and attack, just to proof a point. |

And more over, I felt the original poster want to payed by wizkid, if not why taking wizkid to first wicked is fought on this list. Because I believe olamide Badoo and rema are far better than wizkid, even burnaboy is better than wizkid |

You are still living in 2020. Burna boy has since eclipsed Wizkid and Davido by every account of been "big" in music. He has sold more records, has more streams, worn more awards, performed in places that no other African artists has, has released 3 of the greatest afrobeats albums of all time and is more relevant on the global stage. Burna boy is sitting comfortably at the top of the African music industry, and if you think otherwise go and see a doctor. |

Shedrack777:Nah Wizkid is Number 1 of the Big three. ![]() He is the one of the Nigerian Artiste that Blew at a Young Age. Thus paving way for the likes of Tekno, Lil Kesh, Kizz Daniel and others. ![]() Also he is the First Artiste that Truly went International When he got featured by Drake, Beyonce, Tinie Tempah.🙂 B4 Wizkid, no American Star had featured a Naija artiste in a song.😕 |

These big(3) are retired though, just living with the name, they really made a mark sha. I really love the way naija music is evolving. Recently we don't hear too much native language lyrics, its now English, pidgin and slangs. Its nice hearing this version. By the way, the most talented musicians to have ever graced the music industry is blackface, faze and tuface. These guys coordinated music with uniqness. |
