Today, the official edifice of MODUPE & FOLORUNSO ALAKIJA Medical Research and Training Hospital (MOFAMRTH) was commissioned by His Excellency, former Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. This infrastructures was donated by Apostle Folorunso Alakija.
The construction of this edifice was started during the government of Former Governor, Rauf Aregbesola in 2014.

Solid building. The lady has taste. Obi Cubana should copy her; not in the size of the building nor in charity but in his own buildings. I’m yet to see any of his buildings that look well designed and built. Just a brotherly advice.

Adeleke never start it, it was started during Aregbesola government in 2014, it continues during Oyetola Government and the projects finished in Adeleke government. These projects was donated by the African richest woman, Mrs Folorunso Alakija.

Why go abroad again & again for expensive medical tourism with the type of ultramodern sophisticated medical equipment available in Modupe & Folorunsho Alakija Medical Research and Training Hospital (MOFAMRTH) here in Osun State University, Osogbo under the VCship of Prof.Odunayo Clement Adebooye.

I have seen the facilities before & I'm seeing the facilities with other invited guests today - the commissioning date. I described as "intimidatingly excellent" for all medical departments, from life to life, and from life to death, in a-one-stop all you need hospital donated by the philanthropic couple, Pa & Ma Modupe & Folorunsho Alakija.

This is the best equipped public hospital in any state and federal hospitals including teaching hospitals. I say this loud and clear. Contrary to our Yoruba popular maxim, this hospital is "Mi o ri iru Eleyi ri, a o fi da eru ba oloro o" . This is reality I have and most of us have not seen before o. I beg to be challenged after the commissioning when I will have the liberty to list out the "Ara me riri" medical equipment. "Is Gaju" Kilode! I don't want to "siwaju elede pe ede". I don't want pre-empt the VC, a friend & a Great Ife in whom we are proud of, for his passionate development of the institution.

I will come back after the commissioning for details, interactions, comments, suggestions for optimal performance critical debates on my declaration that the hospital is the best of public hospitals including teaching hospitals and Aso Villa clinic.

You know what? The cost is what is freely lootable by many politically exposed corrupt political leaders including presidents, governors, ministers, senators, ex & incumbent. Meaning? This kind of hospital is possible to be built at least 3 per state of the federation. After the cost is officially announced, pls read HEDA Resource Centre Publications on 100 High Profile Corruption Cases in Nigeria to confirm that this kind of hospital is possible in our states and federal capital, Abuja. If Awon Arabi have not stolen the nation dry, and if they are God fearing public thieves.

Congratulations to all the people who made this medical edifice possible and congratulations in advance to those who will work there. Optimal performance is key. Let us be vigilant on the services & management of this "attractive" hospital. Don't let your leaders escape abroad again for medical tourism because what they are going to look for in Sokoto is here in their Sokoto, - Osogbo. (MOFAMRTH).
