I've been to many regions of this country and I've noticed that it is only in Lagos that people sell houses just to throw party and the remaining change is used to rent a single room apartment .

How can a person wake up and sell his land just for parties

It's land that I have witnessed. They sell it for peanuts to throw sallah party and naming ceremony.

But then again, after selling off all the lands to Igbos, next is to start selling houses nah.

I myself sold my land at agbara Ogun state and I reside in Lagos and used it to buy another land in Lagos and developed it.
Due to most of my property are base in Lagos I wanted all to be around me.
I never throw any party instead I invested it big time.

From your attachment, the menace is not limited to SE alone. May be you didn't read what you posted.

Now compare this to your SW where parents manipulate the glory of one child to favor another child. I have no doubt you are a victim too. Now you don't expect me to show you established cases where this has happened. I bet you can do that yourself if you want, since you know how to use Google.

But then again, the topic of this thread is not on baby factory or glory manipulation, it's a sober reflection of how people sell off their heritage for a momentary revelling. Let's dwell on that and expose the menace.

That means Yorubas have unlimited lands because they have been throwing parties before you and I were born.
There is no place in the world that Yorubas do not throw parties because they are the richest black Africans ever.
They have the highest number of African dollar billionaires in the world and have the highest number of multi millionaires and billionaires in Africa.
I don't think they have lands to sell in Europe and the Americas but they still throw their very expensive parties.
God has blessed the Yorubas greatly.
