stuffs2002:
Adegboyega was deceived by the Igbo coup plotters and he went along with them not knowing that there was a coup within a coup.
Michael Okpara’s Eastern government was deeply implicated in severe corruption, massive election rigging, and political violence. If “office and corruption” were the criteria, Okpara should have been a prime target because he was the most corrupt person in the country at the time yet the coup plotters even protected him and did not allow any harm to him.
You can lie to yourself all you want but the truth will always hunt you even in your sleep. How come the death toll were mostly leaders from the north who were not even corrupt yet were brutally murdered without mercy.

As regards IBB’s book. IBB never exonerated Igbos from the massacre of other leaders in his book but because you think you could twist his word. Go and read page 41 and stop disgracing yourself online.

The following persons planned the January 15, 1966 coup:

Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna-Igbo
Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu-Igbo
Major Chris Anuforo-Igbo
Major Don Okafor-Igbo
Major Adewale Ademoyega-Yoruba

Of these people, only Major Adewale Ademoyega did not take part in the killings. Please find below the names and regions of the people they killed, and you decide whether or not the coup was one-sided.

1. Sir Ahmadu Bello from Northern Region.
2. Sir Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa from Northern Region.
3. Samuel Ladokr Akintola from Western Region.
4. Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh-Itsekiri from the Midwest Region.
5. Hafsatu Bello (wife of Sir Ahmadu Bello) from Northern Region.
6. Mrs Latifat Ademulegun (Brigadier Ademulegun's wife, who was eight months pregnant)-Yoruba from Western Region.
7. Brigadier Samuel Ademulegun-Yoruba from Western Region.
8. Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari from Northern Region.
9. Colonel Kur Mohammed from Northern Region.
10. Colonel Ralph Shodeinde Yoruba from Western Region.
11. Lt. Colonel Abogo Lagerma from Northern Region.
12. Lt. Colonel James Pam Northern Region.
13. Lt. Colonel Arthur Unegbe-Igbo from Eastern Region.
14. Sergeant Daramola Oyegoke-Yoruba from Western Region.
15. Police Constable Philip from Northern Region.
16. Police Corporal Akpan Anduka-Efik from Eastern Region.
17. Police Corporal Hagai Lai Northern Region.
18. Police Corporal Yohana Garkawa from Northern Region.
19. Lance Corporal Musa Nimzo from Northern Region.
20. Ahmed Pategi from Northern Region.
21. Zarumi Sardauna from Northern Region.

Now, out of a total of 21 people killed by the January 15, 1966 coup plotters, only Lt. Colonel Arthur Unegbe was an Igbo, and the reason he was killed was because he was the QuarterMaster-General, Army Headquarters, Lagos, and therefore was in charge of the armoury.

When Major Chris Anuforo went to his house to demand the keys to the armoury, he refused and was shot. He was NOT on the original list of people to be killed.
You are repeating the same over flogged lie concocted in Lagos/Ibadan propaganda camp.why?
The coup plotters (ademoyega) and IBB has made it clear that, the coup was to install awolowo as Nigerian president. But yorobahs in a bid to paint Igbos black as usual cooked up lies and propaganda and tagged it "Igbo coup".

Are you trying to tell us that IBB and other well-meaning Nigerians, that came out to debunk una aged long lies are lying?
Were you expecting me to take all you wrote as the truth and jettison what IBB and others said?

Well, I will only do that if yorobahs are known soothsayers.

So you are even saying IBB was among the coup plotters.
Whatever you are smoking must be genuine for you to include IBB in your January 1966 coup.
In your desperate bid to lie, see as you just pack your own legs wey make you fall down. No wonder Nnamdi Kanu told you people that Buhari was long dead and that a clone called Jubrin from Sudan was the one ruling Nigeria at the time.

There is no day I don't thank God I am not Igbo. If not this is how I would have been thinking.

You know what am saying, it's just that you desperately want to twist the narrative,, so that it will suit una aged long lies and propaganda.

The names (Ademoyega and IBB) that is in my post, is just for reference purposes and not because IBB was involved in the said coup. Ademoyega and IBB wrote a book telling people the truth about the coup, which is to make people know that the essence of the coup was to install awolowo as president. Apart from this fact anything you are saying here is a fat lie.

God didn't make you Igbo because you no reash. You think it's easy to be Igbo? Na wise and intelligent humans God dey make Igbo no.be anyhow people and we Igbos knows this fact, that's why we Igbos are always proud.

Always supporting outsiders against Nigeria.

Yet you wonder why Nigerians will never ever vote Igbo
I think you've got that back to front. "Some" Igbo people no longer support Nigeria, because Nigeria doesn't support them. You're assessment is totally nonsensical.

In what way is Nigeria not supporting Igbos?
What has Nigeria given to other ethnicities that was not given to Igbos?

You can only deceive yourselves.
When an ordinary vdn was having issues with b-lord, una talk say "vdm hates igbós", when the sm influencer made the 'bokku' advert, una say ''yorubas are profiling igbós", but when it's the other way round, you suddenly remember that "1 igbó is not the same as all Igbós".
We don hear!

Abeg keep your fake truth to yourself because Igbos have had it so good in this country. Igbos are the biggest beneficiary of one Nigeria
No tribe in Nigeria is as wide spread doing business in all the states and towns in Nigeria as much as the Igbos
Igbos are only bitter because they are not the ones ruling the country and did you ask the other tribes and they dis not tell you their own complain?
Do you even know what the Hausas, Tiv, Ijaw, Igala, Ikwere, Egun, Nupe, Idoma, Fulani, Kanuri etc are all going through in NIgeria?
truth is bitter when last did any Igbo man is president or vice in this country and did igbos hv d right to do anyhow in another state d way d Hausas/Fulanis doing in other places?
