IgboProgress:Only God could have revealed to you what you posted, many will not understand what you posted but its becoming clear to me that Anambra has a problem with prideful arrogance! We go soon humble sha! We have forgotten how to excel via thoughful intent and planning! There is a lot of nzuzu in Soludo govt.....powered by the career politicians in his govt! Please can somebody tell me ...what exactly is the point of the wasteful so called upgrading of the Awka Township stadium ? All I see, is the interlocking of acres of stadium space that could have been designed for aerobic , jogging and light sports activities....whilst still serving as extra parking lot... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA71h0aGoEE&t=213s To make a design and concept disaster worse.....the black and white paint gang struck again........where is igbo creativity bikonu? |

Eboofa:No be small nzuzu. They could have built basketball, volleyball, tennis and planted trees with benches. But concrete corruption dey worry dem. |

IgboProgress:Oga, forget this long epistles. I wasn't born today. This humility preaching sound like pure insecurities from a non onye Anambra. Humility is attractive but it plays no role in your success, especially when you hold all the cards. The most hardworking will always be the best. Anambra is the best because we were born to be the best. You can go to church and complain to your Jesus! |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MKPUOGALIGA: 6:31pm On Dec 07, 2025 |
abuzz33:My goodness! You people are so obsessed with Anambra its becoming sickening. All these lamentation is going on because Anambra is positioning itself to become the most developed state in the whole country in another 10 years when Ike Obosi would have become the governor. Your jealousy is nauseating. Leave us alone and commit this energy to your state who has been developing Owerri since it was created. I dont like Soludo but he is doing exceptionally well. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MKPUOGALIGA: 6:35pm On Dec 07, 2025 |
Eboofa:As you can see Anambra is doing very well in all ramifications. The last time I checked your state Ebonyi is the poorest in the country while your governor look confused and clueless! Yes, your governor is lost and doesn't even know what is the job of a governor....go rest! Anambra will be okay even after Soludo! Ike Obosi will go after Soludo followed by Kingsley Muoghalu. We are very well....scram! |

7 MKPUOGALIGA:We are all Anambrarians my friend so stop the diversionary tactic. Soludo surrounds himself with what the British call dolts. They can fool you with concrete and paint but not me. They are interlocking vast areas that could have been used for basketball courts, volleyball courts, and planting trees. But their sense no reach anywhere. Look at the football field whose artificial turf is worn thin for lack of maintenance and whose running track is cracking and falling apart. Its not even a standard 400m track bevause these brainless dolts couldn't achieve that simple track under Obiano. Go and see what people with sense build with less money. This is the 36m rand ($2m) Klipspruit Sports Center in Soweto, South Africa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0P7-1urZNE?si=wQXdhVAm3Kw_f1qV Meanwhile our geniuses in Nigeria collected $1m from FIFA to build this pitch and God knows how much they paid GSS for this interlock parking. Or go take a look at another Johannesburg Development Agency COMMUNITY project - the Jabulani Hub and Sports Complex built with SENSE for the youth including : - A full-size artificial soccer pitch. - An Olympic-sized swimming pool. - Outdoor sports courts (e.g., basketball, netball). - A gym facility. - A kids' play area. - A multipurpose hall. - Study and youth cafe areas for various programs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YwsAYEArp4 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJFdphX7dFE?si=YmHS6hRX8N-Dy-y_ Note that what RCC is building or has built from Umunya - Enugu has the following: 1) Crash barriers 2) Drainage 3) Soil stabilization 4) Load-bearing sub-base 5) Emergency Lane Contrast this with the rubbish IDC built for the state between Amawbia and Amansea under Obiano at great cost. You start wondering about the capacity of Anambra's Ministry of Works. There are standard processes for road projects. Environmental Assessment, Design, tendering, procurement, delivery. They skip critical details and jump to procurement. Its not a wonder the state is littered with badly planned projects. The Obi built expressway from headbridge to Umunya with no crash barrier, no emergency lane in his quest to "save money". Or the sub-standard footbridge with IDC at Unizik Temp Site Junction with one of its legs sitting on the expressway. Or Obiano's three poorly designed ramps with IDC (which he called flyover) with convoluted underpass creating more mess than needed instead of proper flyovers in the right places. Or the ICC on a wetland with billions spent sandfilling and elevating the building. If you are going to spend billions constructing, get it right the first time by hiring experts, not backyard so-called engineers. |

Mktinsight you are not from Anambra. Leave Anambra and go to your state. Coming here to claim Anambra shall never make you one. We know who you are, changing moniker cannot change who you are. abuzz33: |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by leicestercamper: 8:35pm On Dec 08, 2025 |
Mktinsight there is no project ever done in Anambra that you have ever supported. You spent so much time here to confuse yourself about Anambra international airport when it was under construction, today it is in use and serving the purpose, you did the same with ICC, fun city, etc, you are not from Anambra and your opinion is not needed here. No one is interested in your posts. Anambra is the greatest and most developed Igbo state. No amount of your g1bberish can fly here. We shall always keep you in check here. abuzz33: |

Mktinsight please tell us one thing you haven’t criticized in Anambra? You are an enemy of Anambra, go and focus on your state. You criticized airport, ICC, fun city, Light House, etc. does that not show that you are an onye ajo obi that wish Anambra don’t have the right infrastructures, but to your shame, Anambra shall continue to get it right as the most developed Igbo state. My happiness, even if you like change 100 monikers we still know you. abuzz33: |

While we are celebrating mini airport lounges and shopping malls built on 8 plots of land, here is what intentional leaders are doing in Addis Ababa: - City Masterplan - Power projects - Electric buses and trains - Green spaces - Business Districts - Industries https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRC243t3jkc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oxwBIq2Cco |

Mktinsight your opinion is not needed here. All do is to constantly discredit any project in Anambra simply because of your envy. Ikenga mall is the biggest and most beautiful in Igboland and that’s what matters to us here. That you are bringing Addis into comparison means that no mall even in Abuja or Lagos comes close. Keep going, you will soon bring New York mall because you haven’t seen the last yet. We shall keep celebrating because we got the best. abuzz33: |

NwekereNdokl:Envy of what? Envy of mediocrity? Soludo said he would turn Anambra to Dubai and Taiwan. I am showcasing Addis Ababa so you can see serious people attempting to replicate Dubai in Africa not hot air of Nigerian politicians. Many of the basics are achievable. Nothing stops Soludo from introducing EV buses like Enugu and Lagos states on key arteries and getting rid of Keke. Nothing stops them from learning from Ethiopia who funded the 6,000 MW Grand Renaissance Dam from government bonds to build at least 500MW of power in the state. Nothing stops them from building proper large Bus Terminals and Truck Terminals to get rid of roadside bus and truck loading. Basics not dancing to Enyi na Ga on Youtube by Mike Ejeagha. |

Mktinsight onye ajo obi. You think changing moniker up and down will hide your identity mumu? We shall always know who you are onye obi ojo. You are mentioning Enugu that has incurred unnecessary debt with almost nothing to show. Anambra is by far more developed than Enugu state in all indicators of development. Soludo is a millions times a far better governor than Mbah can be even if given 16yrs to rule his state. Mktinsight onye obi ojo, please tell us one project you have ever supported in Anambra? You slept here night and day trying to confuse yourself when the airport and ICC were being built, no one listened to your akuko ndi ala, today our airport is up and running. Immediately after the completion, you shamefully changed to another moniker to hide your shame. If this same Ikenga mall were to be in another state you would have used it as reference point of what development should be. If the Awka fun city were to be in another state, you would have been here deceiving yourself, onye obi ojo. You are mentioning Addis to compare to Ikenga mall simply because you found no worthy comparison anywhere in Nigeria, it proves one thing, that Ikenga mall is super. We shall keep a tab on you in this thread your ajo obi propaganda and narrative will never fly here. Anambra shall continue to be the best and most developed Igbo state. abuzz33: |

abuzz33:its incredible what ethiopia has done in its capital over the past 2 years! Soludo is eminently capable of carrying out the same town planning revolution in Anambra but he is hampered by a relatively weak cabinet and paucity of funds! I wonder if it is possible for him to learn a thing or 2 from the enugu governor in area of revenue generation........I suspect that Enugu state may have employed the services of lagos state revenue officials............the truth is that Lagos has by far, the best revenue generation formular in the country! Let us learn from others when we are lacking ..........no harm in that |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by abuzz33: 5:29am On Dec 16, 2025 |
J̌ Eboofa:Learning from others is key not praise singing. I am very very disappointed in Igbo governors. We are a people that travel. We are well educated. We need to do more. Modernity is not about building haphazardly but planning systems with maximum impact. Soludo is doing the right thing by dualizing roads but is that enough? What about pavements, parking, traffic lights, drainage, public transport? He has not done enough with his budget and as for capacity, he selected his own cabinet. If they are not performing it starts with him. Contrast Alex Ottis commissioners with Anambras and it should be obvious. He has three more years and he should focus on what's achievable not grand visions that go nowhere. This is what I want from him: 1) Obiano transitioned Anambra from the madness of Okada in cities. He should likewise phase out tricycles and those 6 seater shuttles from cities and implement 10 seater public transport vehicles using either CNG or EV. Make transport organized and affordable with routes, stops and get someone with a planning brain to execute it. 2) Build more youth friendly things. Upgrade the Awka and Onitsha libraries and transform into activity hubs with free wifi, programs for reshaping young minds, exchanging ideas and learning crafts. Build free basketball, tennis, volleyball, football courts in public schools and encourage sports to reduce crime, drugs among youth. 3) Relocate large markets out of the center of cities. Eke Awka, Ochanja as classic case in points. Any market with more than 100 stalls must meet code requirements like parking, water, waste management and security. 4) Restructure governance by putting Communities at the apex of governance. Towns should be responsible for local roads, markets, waste management, sanitation, and security with support from the state government. 5) Attract power projects to the state. Anambra needs at least 500MW of power. There are a variety of options for obtaining this power. Renewable energy such as solar farms is the obvious one. Another is building a HVDC transmission line from power plants in nearby states like Imo. |
