And if the allegation come out to be false?

DID YOU KNOW THE ALLEGATIONS DATING BACK TO 2012 and many of those kids have left sch and some married.

YOU ASK YOURSELF, WHY DANGOTE NOT RAISING SUCH ALLEGATIONS THEN? IF TRULY HE LOVES THE COUNTRY WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

In as much I don't surport the man, govt should balance it's position on the matter.
Was Dangote’s refinery ready or operational in 2012?

Was PIA signed into law in 2012?

Would those wards have started schooling in 2012 in Switzerland and still remain In secondary schools till now?

Would Dangote have had access to those info in 2012 and be waiting for a day like this?

Are we even sure Facrook was their oga for that agency in 2012?

Bra. Use your se..nse nah. Don’t you know it’s Facrook’s actions that caused Dangote’s reactions? People around Facrook, who know how things dey go fed Dangote with the info.

Balance what position, a clear case of living above his means? In the whole working life of that man, all his earning together cannot sponsor just 1 child through Swiss private education, so how did he do it if he is not a crook, did he win euro millions lottery and he has kept it private? See when we see the truth we should call it so, that is the only way this country can get better.
Oga I have written here before of my paddy that imports petrol months ago and mentioned him having a meeting with this man. Is it that you do not know what a baby born today knows? Look at it this way, this man is in charge of issuing licenses for fuel import, lots of companies are trying to secure the few licenses, add that together as a Nigerian and tell me what will happen.

That monopoly Dangote is looking for, he won't get it.

Why should Dangote petrol be in the same price range as imported fuel?
What then is the use of his refinery?
All these too cool for school kids. Okay now this is a strictly academic matter (MONOPOLY). Obviously, you only heard it from someone as ill equipped to discuss it as you like Seun Kuti.

Such brazen display of the proceeds of public funds is shocking.

If he had done the most Nigerian thing by sending only his kids to foreign universities, eyebrows wouldn't have been raised so high .

I suspect nothing will happen to him eventually like most others.

1. Is it true that our refinery cannot meet daily demand in Nigeria?

2. If that is the case, why do you want to monopolize the market?

3. If your refinery cannot meet daily demand, is it not fair for import licenses to be granted to those who can support your own output?

4. You hold press conferences every month as if you are briefing Nigerians on the state of your refinery. In your latest press conference, you published the names of NMDPRA's children and the schools they attended and the fees they paid. You failed to link those fees to corruption. We expected you to submit evidence of him receiving money illegally or engaging in corruption. How will you feel if the details of your children and their schools and addresses are published?

5. You are at loggergeads because he granted import licenses. Why don't you lobby legislators to amend the PIA to ensure NMDPRA cannot grant such licenses?

6. You attempted to penetrate the noodles market and left it as quickly as you came in because Dufil Prima already dominated the market. Are you afraid of competition?

7. Scale up production, plug loopholes and sell at prices Nigerians can afford. That way, you'd take a significant chunk of market share. Engaging in monthly smear campaign and attacking someone's children is not how to run a business. That is introducing political smear campaign in the corporate world. Until the refinery attains full capacity, import licenses are to continue.

We appreciate Aliko for building a refinery to meet Nigeria's energy needs. I suggest he buys out the marketers and take over their assets.
One question for you, can a public office holder be able to afford 5m usd and pay school fees for his children upfront?

This your long, winding epistle, why is Dangote cement cheaper in Kano than in kogi where it is produced?

Why is Dangote cement cheaper in other African countries than in Nigeria?

Do you have any idea of what Competition Laws entail?
Let me help you out on these:

Organizations have price lists for different types of customers and regions.

Kano people are deemed to be poor. That’s why they are on a low price list.

Abuja, where bulk of construction is happening in NIgeria, is deemed to be rich. That’s why price is higher there.

Same or similar pricing strategies go for other African countries where DANGOTE manufactures cement. Other factors like steady power supply, nearness to raw materials etc influence product pricing.

Why are medications sold in shops cheaper than the ones sold to international agencies like USAID etc? It’s the same pricing strategy.
I am sure you don’t have higher private sector work experience. That’s why most of you think some things should go the ways you view them.

IMPORTATION OF OIL IS KILLING THE ECONOMY AND OUR EXCHANGE RATE !!! HOW DIFFICULT IS IT FOR YOU PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND!

Dangote built a refinery if anyone wants to compete they should go and build their own refinery, not imports!!!!!!!!!

Since the Refinery started operations have you heard of any fuel scarcity?

I don’t understand why some people think Dangote is desperately trying to control the oil market with the refinery.

Even if that were the case, it still benefits the country far more to refine and produce petroleum locally than to rely on imports. Local refining strengthens the economy, creates jobs, and reduces our dependence on foreign markets.

Unfortunately, corruption continues to suffocate progress and prevents Nigeria from truly breathing.

Dangote had made it clear that it is not an output problem but a logistics problem. Remember that Dangote mentioned that NMDPRA used the word evacuated in describing the shortfall but that there were more than enough output for consumption ready in the reservoirs. So instead of addressing the supply problem, it appears that that was used as an excuse to encourage more importations. Did you notice how the Naira started crashing again in recent weeks. Don't you think round-tripping has started happening again by some of the beneficiaries of this spurious licenses.?

What are you trying to defend here? Celebrating corrouptiuon?! Farouq is a public servant and he owes us explanation on how he could afford such bill when his annaul pay is just N48m.
It is our responsibilty to discourage coorruption and make it unattarcative to our leaders. Can you remember how much Kayri the former GMD of NNPCL spent to repair PHRC? It was commissioned by PBAT, is it working? Do you know how many TTM that has been carried out on the 4 Refineries and yet, none is wrking? All these Refineries were regulated by the same agency that produced Farouq. They have been milikng us dry. Nowimagine they are supporting Petroluem importers at the expense of Refiner, a system that has crippled the previous Refineries. D you want Alinko to keep quite and then they will usethe same process to run dowm his investment?
We forget so son and too often. At christmas period like this, we are either queningfor fuel that is scarces , paying with our health, time and money, but that is not the case. Who cares if Dangote publish his entire family pictures. These guys are the real enemies of the masses. Take away the impact of Dangote Refinery, naira vs USD will probably be above N2000.
I am disaapinted that PBAT have not asked him to step aside for investigation. Dangote may not be a saint, but let's joiun hands with him to protect our economy, and encourage these marketers that Farouq is protecting because Dangote drppped price withgout consulting them to build thier wn Refineries.
If they so wish, PBAT can sell the moribound Refineries to the Petroluem Marketers.

We must learn from the collapse of Nigeria’s textile factories. That industry didn't just disappear, it was suffocated by the same issues we see in the energy sector today, high production costs, non-existent infrastructure, and a preference for foreign imports over local manufacturing. Labels like 'monopoly' are often used to distract from the fact that we have failed to create a competitive environment for local production. We shouldn't be importing fuel in 2025 any more than we should have abandoned our textile heritage. It’s time to stop choosing the path of least resistance and start fixing the underlying issues that make local business so difficult.
Omo this is Genius level thinking. If everyone thought like this we would have less problems. Stay Enlightened

Meanwhile Dangote is also importing crude oil and blending components.
Dangote still thinks Buhari who gave him cheap dollars through Meffy is still alive.
Let Dangote crash price and run these marketers out of business forever and ever and stop making noise.
Dangote sounds weak and powerless for stooping so low for Farouk, a whole Dangote of 2000 CNG trucks.
If Dangote wants to bury Farouk and importers, let his acquire an oil well here in Nigeria and only use Nigerian crude, then refine here and sell at a price that importers can never dream of.
The savings in transport from local crude compared to imported crude will give Dangote an insurmountable margin against all importers, they cry Force Majeure and Dangote buys all their assets via proxy or AMCON.
If Dangote cannot do this, then he can cry till kingdom come, the only way he can take marketers out of business is a massive price reduction, even if they remove Farouk today and put Peter Obi, he will still face regulatory power.

Irresponsibility of highest order on Dangote's part. Explicit exposure of children and their school can subject them to trauma and alter their education foundation.

What I read in the initial response by Farouk was a sound defense that should be followed up with litigation after proven. Every public officer is exposed to opportunities. The 30 years old public servant could have family investment in oil and gas sector.

The dude authorized the school to provide investigators the actual school fees amount which he said is a far cry from Dangote's $5m allegation.

Go and establish refineries and compete with Dangote potential monopoly. BUA refinery is coming up gradually, Nigerians will give it the same support we're giving DR.
Importation can never be allowed to serve as competition to a project that promotes and projects Nigeria's image globally. We knew what importation of fuels did to Nigerians over many years, time to do away it, it is not reliable and a drain to our forex and trade balance, this is not about Dangote alone
