The people protesting about Anioma State creation, it being added to the South-East, have good reason to do so. The resolution of the national assembly is that one more state should be created for the South-East, the only zone with 5 states

From Anambra to Anioma is not up to a minute if you're driving, less than 6 minutes if you're walking. So many Anambra people live and work in Anioma and vise versa.

But there is absolutely nothing to gain Joining the SE.
Not with IPOB and UGM having a free rein there.

Anioma would be best as a south south state.

Zenith, UBA, SEPLAT, AITEO, and a host of others.

These are companies bigger than any the SE can put forward.

We couldn't have done that if we were in the SE.

Anioma has the quality human capital, with the access to oil that a SS region offers us, we can do great things.
