angryDem say Yerima's COURT
FreeStuffsNG:
There's no record of court order in the report. Is it that the court order cannot be disclosed?

The estate excos may be deceiving them. No court will give a restraining order to prevent the bringing down of a structure that pose danger to lives.

Still the president gave Wicked Wike 100% pass as a minister. This is where we find ourselves.

We are yet to hear from the FCTA. Sometimes, you see sensational reports like this, but the facts turn out to be different.

The people talking about Yerima and the rule of law are not smart enough to know they are hypocrites.

We must pick a side. Not because you hate Wike, you support military oppression and tomorrow you start talking about the rule of law.

I told you people that Wike is the most wicked politician in Nigeria. God will soon visits him in one day and pay him back all the pains he caused to people of Nigeria.

The supposed owner of the estate at who's actions most of these demolitions are targeted at; does he, or has he ( Paul Odili) ever respected any court order in his entire life!? He is a tyrant and deserves everything that's coming to him. FCDA will not hurt innocent civilians/ residents in carrying out their Development Control Duties. They are only targeting illegal/ on-going developments within the estate. The story has been a long time coming and we all need to check our facts before making comments on platforms like these.

What court order?
Does Nigeria have courts?
Does anyone take them serious?

This is what happens when members of the judiciary are constantly in bed with the executive. How will "see finish" not enter it?

The extent of the power of the Nigerian court rulings is only to the extent where the executive is willing to apply it.
Yerima is the way..

Where are the Senators and Representatives of the good people of the FCT. This is their function. The people don't have to fight anyone. Just call an audience with their representatives to lay their complaints.

They are GOVERNMENT. They have the authority to speak to the judiciary and the Executive on an EQUAL partner basis and in other climes they carry A LOT of clout and seriously influence where power goes in the polity. In other climes the Executive does not play games with them.

Look, Nigerians will CONTINUE TO SUFFER needlessly as long as they don't know how to WORK this democracy. First, if we don't insist in the CLEAR separation of powers so that no one arm overpowers the others.

Such that we deal with the Executive when they trample on the Judiciary or Legislature. We deal with the Judiciary when they try to subvert the rule of the Executive or Legislature and deal with the Legislature when they seek to drive an agenda outside Executive will and law and order. We play one against the other to hold them in a power flux.

But no. Our feudal mindset lends itself to autocracy. We want all power bestowed on one arm of government and by extension one man in the Head of State, so when he has subdued and we happen to find ourselves on the wrong side of favour, there is no one to run to.

We say we want 'cooperation' in government not 'confrontation'.... this is the result. The brakes of government are now cooperating with the throttle. Unfortunately we have reached a bend in the road and need to slow down but...

Is this wisdom in citizenship.
Sorry oh, but it is alleged that the FCT head also has the judiciary on lockdown so....

I don't understand; is it the whole estate the authority wants to destroy? because the estate is huge. That would be heartless and wicked, considering the times we are in..
it's who doesn't know River park wount understand. River park is not a regular estate with 5 to 10 buildings. River park is a town. And so many of my friends are living there. I have to make some phone call

Why would FCTA try to do this to Citizens who acquired land legitimately for years now. If something was wrong with the developer why not take over the estate facilities and others if they can't pay off the penalties.

How come Wike chose to demolish in his regime that others before him didn't see fit to undertake out of sympathy for unaware citizens.

The estate is now literally owned by homeowner s if they new there was irregularities before investing, nobody will want to risk it. So don't punish a child for his father's sins. Wike can do better.
The law doesn't recognise ignorance as an excuse...the fact other ministers refused or lacked the balls to take bold decisions is their concern....for ones Nigeria now has a minister that is uncompromising in the discharge of his responsibilities.

Wake up to the new reality ma broh.

River Park estate is well planned and developed estate. That estate looks like abroad to me with good access roads, modern houses, steady power supply etc. Abeg make Dem no demolish that estate.
Re: FCTA Officials Demolish River Park Estate Despite Restraining Order by kaludestiny10(m): 4:11pm On Dec 17, 2025
The estate has two entrance and exit gates. That estate is too big and well developed for one to want to destroy. People spent money in that estate.

The lawlessness in Nigeria have skyrocketed never since Tinubu's government came to power. The level of agencies' recklessness is alarming. Unfortunately, this matter will likely be swept under the carpet

Injunctions that cannot be seen but talked about on social media. Same way Peter Obi won presidential elections on social media
