Hello everyone
My first contribution to the thread as I’m a bit worried.
I submitted my application for visit on 29/11 and had biometric in 01/12. Purpose is to attend my husbands graduation ( I have a guest IV) in the uk and spend some time with him in total of 14 days. I haven’t heard back other than acknowledgement and I’m worried they’ll soon close for Christmas. Graduation is 09 January and I’m worried I may miss out. I already have a flight booked for 05/01 which I attached. Could they consider this and try to give me a response in time before proposed flight date?

the UK have said you should not book tickets unless you have gotten the visa. Booking flight cannot influence their visa decisions.

I know about that. My ticket was discounted and I thought to make use of the opportunity

I admire your faith and i pray you get the visa. A ticket being on discount for a trip to a Country where you dont have approval of entry yet is quite a leap of faith.


I'm sure the delay is due to a huge number of visas being processed.
