Greetings chief I just got the huawei odu and its great so far but I haven't seen an option to switch to only 5g

You can't switch to only 5G on Huawei ODU. It operates on 5G NSA (Non-Stand Alone) meaning it must be paired with 4G to work.

However, you can attempt to change it by going to Advanced -> System -> System Settings -> Developer Options -> Network Mode.

Among the options you'll see:
SA (Stand Alone),
NSA (Non Stand Alone) and
SA+NSA
...
...

SA is 5G only. Default is NSA. If your connection stops working you can go back to Default.

Airtel 5G doesn't run as SA. They use NSA so selecting SA only will not work. It has to be NSA.

Yes I am. There is a store that services Jakande/Osapa/Agungi region at Matis Mall , Osapa.

May be they can put you through. I can connect you with a sales rep there who may be willing to offer you a SIM model.

Oh wow, I don't think they'd be able to sort it out from there then. Mostly they'd refer to a mainland branch, of which I am not sure at all

It has been awesome but I stay at ajah axis
4g, 4g+ and 5g are all crazy fast and I use it for my kodi playlist, iptv, streaming matches all in 4k without sweat. My odu is just on the floor not yet outside and it's performance is very good

Plz can you give a breakdown of how you used smartcash to subscribe thereby getting the 10% discount?

1. Setup Smartcash with an Airtel Number
2. Transfer money from your bank to that phone number as the account number and 'Smartcash' as the recipient bank.
3. Setup myAirtel account with an Airtel Number (preferably the same one as your ODU SIM, I don't know how it looks like when you use a different number)
4. Select Buy Bundle
5. Select the ODU number you want to buy for. If you signed up with your ODU number, it auto-selects that one. Otherwise input your ODU phone number.
6. Select your desired Data Pack
7. Select Smartcash. It should auto-select the same number as your myAirtel app. If you use a different number for sSmartcash, edit the number there.
8. Proceed to pay.
9. Discount should appear in Smartcash immediately payment goes through.
10. Buy mobile phone data with that bonus, rinse and repeat 🤣

Like if try renewing your the "My Airtel app", then use "Smartcash" to pay you'll still receive a 10% discount? Even if you didn't initiate the process from the Smartcash app?
